Greater than one weekThree times as fast as aan electromagnetic drive! It works like a charm! However, you will probably need to buy an enclosure for your old drive . I dont recommend that you restore your old drive on your new one. I installed my new drive with a new system to start fresh and not carry my errors and viruses onto my new system. Your computer will be reborn again three times faster.

> 3 dayRealmente fácil de instalar siguiendo las instrucciones aunque pasar los datos de mi memoria antigua a la nueva lo hice al segundo intento, quizás haya sido cosa mía. El disco duro me va muy bien, lo uso en un I7 no lo he probado en portátiles más antiguos.

> 3 dayIf youre upgrading from an HDD then I am envious of you. That first cold boot that takes 3 seconds is amazing, seriously, savor it. This is a good storage amount, it makes your system faster, it doesnt cost an arm and a leg. I really cannot recommend this enough, a great buy.

> 3 daySamsung disks dont work so well with ncq (native command queuing) in linux. I had communication errors and had to disable ncq (libata.force=noncq in grub). Search on samsung noncq for more.

> 3 dayChanging WD 1 TB HDD in HP 17.3 AMD to Samsung 870 Evo 1 TB. Samsung Data Migration froze at 99%.. Never finished... 4 attempts. Aoemi Backer Upper appears to clone but un recognized when installed x 3.. 1st attempt with Macrium 100% successful. My first SSD boot disk. Major speed improvement... worth the frustrating transition. Also boosted Ram from 8 to 24 and added on board Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSD 250GB.. Super fast processing of Raw photos in Affinity and several Topaz Lab programs
