Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

I regularly edit videos on my MacBook Pro using dual screen. Having the MBP sit low on the desk while the screen was raised was somewhat of an eyesore, and I had to keep adjusting my eye level. This seems like its not a big deal, and it really isnt, but this is a novelty item, so Im treating it as such.

I put a heavy 15 inch ThinkPad on it and stays firm. Solid. Can probably type on it but I use mine with an external keyboard beside an external monitor, and gets my laptop to the right height. The support notches are small and rounded and low enough in the center so that they don’t get in the way of typing. generics have the notches higher and to the side where your arms have to be raised to avoid the notches to type on them. Good stand. Not an ultra portable pack in the bag kind of stand. But good for multiple extended uses around the home, living room, kitchen a fixed workplace or office. Also raises your laptop camera to correct eye level for better zoom or e learning sessions. This design doesn’t take valuable desk space away from you and you can type closer with a keyboard underneath or store notes below. Good accessory to have around the house like a screw driver or your own tool box. Once you have it you will know why you had it in the first place. Not a throwaway kind of workplace accessory. Good for your back and better ergonomics.

Ive received this package today and yet I suddenly realized this is not new.The visible stains on the top.

This stand is wonderful. It puts the screen where I can see it and I no longer have to hunch over. I use my laptop keyboard as is on the stand and its really not a problem. Also, it is beautiful and complements my MacBook Air nicely.

This is a very nicely crafted stand, but it is twice as tall as it should be. I am contemplating having it cut, and than re-assembled so that it is shorter.

The color matches perfect to my Mac, its of high quality and it holds my 13 Mac just perfect. Your wont be disappointed.

Great design, consistent Apple look, functional. If you are looking to elevate your macbook or macbook pro, this is the best solution. Keyboard stows nicely below stand, freeing up desk space. Cord hole in back has plastic liner to prevent cord wear. Large rubber pads on base and platform make this a number one choice.
