I was so pleasantly surprised with this convertible carry-on bag/backpack. It is nicely compact for storage and with the expansion option, opens up large enough to hold all I would need for a weekend trip with an easy to carry option or straps to make it a backpack. Everything is laid out perfectly with this bag. The first photo is the overall view from the front. Second photo shows the nice detail provided on the side pocket for a water bottle with the elastic sewn in (it is on both sides) to make sliding your bottle in easy. Such a simple but appreciated addition! Third and fifth photos show open view of the bag unzipped with the extra bags on the right hand side. They store nice and flat if you don’t need them but, are very handy to have in the event you do need some extra storage along the way when traveling. The 4th photo shows one of the interror side zippered pouches that holds the port for plugging in a power bank. This is my first bag to offer this and I love having this option. The connection is conveniently located on the outside of the bag to connect my device to. The front zip out section to hold a laptop is nicely padded and offers multiple compartments for paperwork. I also love how the straps to convert to a backpack are hidden inside one of the back pockets. The ease with which to make the conversion is perfect. The 7th photo includes a marker to show how deep one of the outside pockets is - my fingertips are at the spot where the brown paper is resting. A small detail, but it is not common to see and is a nice feature. The last photo shows the handle which is thickly cushioned and covered with breathable fabric. The shoulder straps are also very well cushioned, sturdy, and attached securely. I will be breaking this in on my next weekend trip and look forward to seeing how it performs in action!

Perfect carry on backpack. Good quality and value. True to description and has multiple packing cubes. It did take a second to figure out the shoulder straps clip together, they have a unique design with that. Its very durable and sturdy. Very happy with this bag!

I am very impressed with this backpack. It came very well-packaged, with the kind of care that makes the manufacturers seem very proud of their product. It can be carried like a soft briefcase or carried on your back like a backpack. A large-zippered pocket will accommodate a 17 laptop and there are zippered pockets for accessories everywhere on this backpack. There is a zippered pocket on the inside for a phone battery to connect to your phone on the outside to keep your phone charged. This is a very compact, smartly organized, and durable backpack. It stretches out to a full 9 thickness and inside there are 4 removable, water-resistant, packing cubes of varying sizes, for packing clothing and toiletries. One could easily pack for an overnight trip with this backpack and bring his work environment along with him!

I originally selected this backpack for my son to go to Science Camp. I was impressed when it arrived by the quality of the pack, as well as the countless compartments. This also comes with packing travel cubes, which I absolutely love. There is a charging port to place an internal battery pack into, to charge your devices safely while on the go. The shoulder straps are padded and comfortable, and there is an extender zipper to maximize space if needed. It zips out about 3 to make the pack even bigger. This is a sleek, well-structured and high quality bag. It would work perfectly for any type of trip, from a day to a week or more. I would absolutely recommend this pack to others and feel that the price point is more than fair for the quality of the item received. It competes with much more expensive bags of this same style.

This is a pretty sweet backpack. It reminds me of a carry-on bag for flying, but designed around protecting a laptop. The included packing cubes are a nice touch. Thats the only way I pack now. The padding protects the laptop. The zippers all work. The only question is how long before a seam pops or edges fray and get stuck in the zipper. (Ive had top name back packs pop seams and jamb zippers, so this isnt a negative for this backpack.)

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o) In short, this POWAITER backpack is GREAT! The long version: This is the backpack that really COULD! Lets count the ways: Its LARGE (aka HUGE) and great size for traveling, with generous dimensions of: 14 wide x 9 deep x 20 tall. Ive always gotten black backpacks, so time for a change, I ordered a lovely navy blue one. Fabric is really sturdy, and has a denim like look. The pack is beautifully sewn as well. 21 pockets Folks! Nuf said on that one! Im a happy camper about that... I NEED those pockets when I travel! (I will confess, Im guilty of organizing so well that I lose track of what I pack! ;o) Has hidden pockets in the back of the backpack (the part that rests on your back, natch!) that contains zippered section for the well padded shoulder straps, and lower down the pack, is the all-important anti-theft (read: peace of mind) zippered pocket for your passport, and important items you dont want to lose, if stranded on your trip. POWAITER Backpack is so Well Thought Out, it even has pockets and cubes for wet items like toiletries and and icky things you dont want next to your clean clothes like shoes! Not only that, the luggage section has a 180º sturdy zipper (actually, all the zippers are quite sturdy ;o), to easily open this section flat, much like a conventional suitcase, compete with elastic straps to keep your clothes contained within. This section comes with 4 very useful packing cubes to make your travels/packing much easier. Near the front of the backpack has a large, padded, dedicated pouch for your laptop, along with extra pockets within to hold your paperwork and office items. You could squeeze in your tablet as well. And the terrific list goes on and on! This POWAITER Backpack is practically PERFECT in every way! I have only one teensy weensy wish as I travel quite a bit. One airport Im always departing from, tends to examine your electronics in much closer detail. Obviously, we all have to move quickly through TSA-- theres ALWAYS a line, right? ;o) It would be lovely to have a 180º zipper for the laptop section, to help quickly remove the electronics, without holding up that line, you know? I love this carry on bag! Its well made. Great quality. Its very spacious. It has a lot of zipper pockets. Theres an area to store a laptop. I like how the shoulder straps are hidden, giving you the option to use them or not. The straps are padded, I like that. It has a strap so that you can hook this bag onto your luggage, as well as a carrying strap. In addition, it has a smaller, much lighter replica bag inside. This replica bag can be used for miscellaneous items, such as socks, bras, makeup, etc. I really love this carry on bag and Im sure you will too. I would definitely recommend it!

Wow, this ended up being a good decision. I debated on whether to even get this because we had two similar size suitcases that met our typical travel needs. But I thought the backpack feature, when needed, would make carrying multiple bags a bit easier. We prefer not checking our bags so travel size was important. We unboxed this and the next 10 minutes was an adventure hunt. There are pockets after pockets and someone obviously put a lot of thought into this bag. This bag will now be our first choice when packing for a short trip. Very very pleased with it.

I wanted a weekend/overnight bag that would be able to hold everything I need and want in one compact bag. This bag offers so much more! It goes above and beyond with its very functional and thoughtful design. The bag is compact but can be expanded if more space is needed. It has 2 handles and backpack straps to make it super easy and quick to grab on the move and hold however is most comfortable and convenient. The backpack straps have a comfortable mesh padding with a chest strap to keep the bag in place while wearing it, and when not in use the straps can be concealed. Even the buckles that the backpack straps clip into have a cleverly concealed pocket. Once tucked away you’d never know it could convert into a backpack. The compartments on the travel bag are endless! There is a place to store everything, including discreet zippered pockets for smaller electronics, charging cables, or sensitive materials like a wallet or passport. POWAITER even includes packing cubes to take organizing to the next level. As functional as this bag is, it’s also worth mentioning how stylish it is. The material, quality, durability, and color are excellent. I appreciate that the bag is soft and pliable because there are fewer limitations when packing and storing/stowing the bag. From clothes, shoes, toiletries, and electronics, everything I need for a 2-3 day trip can be packed into this bag beautifully. My only complaint is that I need to buy another bag for my spouse because this one is so amazing, we need to each have our own!

I really like the looks of this travel bag, and all of the features it packs. The handles are sturdy and are in useful spots, the zippers are decent (love the zipper pulls too) and there are plenty of compartments for gear when you travel. I like that the main compartment zips all the way open like a suitcase too. The backpack straps are nice, and easily stow away so that your pack becomes luggage. I have yet to use the expansion zipper but Im glad its there to get a little more space when needed. The packing cubes are a nice bonus - they match the style of the travel pack, and are quite useful for organizing your things when traveling. Construction is quite good for the price, and I cant think of any criticism of this bag. It is now my go-to travel bag. Highly recommended!
