A very nice monitor. Colors and resolution are excellent. However, the stand has only a single height and the hinge that attaches the stand to the monitor is very narrow. So as I type if the desk shakes at all, the monitor wiggles a lot. A somewhat wider hinge would have entirely solved this problem. The controls are buttons on the underside of the right edge of the monitor. I like having real buttons. But the icons identifying what the buttons do and how to navigate the on-screen menu are in dark gray color on a black bezel. Unless youre in a brightly lit room, you cant tell what the buttons do. (Which one is up/down, left/right, etc.?) Its frustrating because I dont use them often enough that I get the needed muscle memory. . . . . Update after 1 month of use: Removed a star. Even after learning them, the controls for changing between inputs are so unwieldy that I am returning the monitor. Ive never used a monitor this difficult to switch between inputs. It takes pressing four buttons and praying that the monitor will pause long enough to acknowledge the new source (direct connected, no KVM) before switching back to the present input--which it frequently does not do, so you have try repeatedly to get it to see your input source. Im guessing most of the reviews here use it on a single source only, otherwise there would be a lot more complaints about this.

The picture is awesome. Not even being able to turn off power save or auto source switching is kinda meh. Also doesnt talk display port to my older graphics card even when downgrading the version manually. But that picture is still awesome. Gotta give up something for that price and now I know what it was

This was a good monitor, but it died after 14 months. The display is now black so it is either a dead logic board or backlight. I contacted Philips via email using the contact information provided here by Amazon, but after 2 weeks Ive yet to get a reply back from them. So dont trust the 4Yr Advance Replacement Warranty, which apparently is worthless. Ill be trying to reach them via phone and will update this review if they follow-up with some way to get this monitor replaced or repaired. Update 1: After waiting 2 weeks without a reply, I re-sent the email (I found no way to reach them via phone). I received a reply 3 days later (on Thanksgiving) with a ticket and a request for lots more information: picture of front/back of monitor, picture of issue, picture of serial, picture of receipt, etc. Ive now sent all this along and am waiting on a reply. I guess we will now see if they reply with the warranty denied because of physical damage thing that Ive seen posted repeatedly here and elsewhere on the internet. If they do then I guess we will all know the warranty is a scam since my monitor has been used only on my desk and is flawless, as the photos attest. Update 2: Two days after I sent along the requested information, I received a reply that they are issuing an RMA. They have shipped me a replacement monitor via FedEx (should be here within a week) and have I received en email for a FedEx return label to send back my defective monitor once the replacement arrives. So it would seem that they do honor the warranty, at least in my case. Ive bumped the rating up to 2 stars and will adjust it again when the replacement arrives, assuming all is well. Update 3: The replacement monitor arrive, slightly ahead of schedule. It looks to be in great condition. I have adjusted the rating to 3 stars. In reality this is a 4-star monitor (the Dell S3221QS is far superior), but Im leaving one star off for the poor reliability. Even though the warranty did come through for me, this was still a hassle.

After a few months of use, I find this monitor to be well worth the $330. Pros: Only 4K, curved, 32 for that price. The rest were $400+. Good colors and clarity, even during moderate action gaming. Out of the box, the colors were a bit dull, and there was some noticeable blur in motion, but with some experimentation in the settings, those issues were resolved. The brightness is enough to withstand having a large window at my back as I face the screen. The aesthetic of the monitors housing is simple and not a distraction at all. The bezel is quite thin on the top and sides. Cons: The biggest issue I had was obviously the dead pixels, as seen in the pics. Otherwise, this monitor would have gotten 5 stars from me. It must have been damaged during packaging or prior, because the box had no noticeable signs of damage, and I never even touched the screen during setup. I fastened the base, and set the monitor onto my desk all while it was still in the styrofoam protector. Unfortunately, once I did the initial dead pixel test, you can see the batch of dead pixels in the pics. I can easily live with a dead pixel here or there, especially on a 4K monitor, but a batch that size makes it impossible to ignore during daily use. I am not going through the hassle of an exchange, however, because it is very much out of the way, in the upper right corner, and I only notice it whenever I X-out an application. The only other negative is there is a warning when you first turn the monitor on, that static images of 30min or more could result in burn-in. That was a scary idea, given that I play games for longer durations than that, and do not want to start seeing HUD burn-in on my screen. So far, though, after multi-hour gaming sessions, I havent had any issues. I just make sure to set my screen saver and turn my monitor off if I am going to leave my unattended PC on for an extended period. Overall, though, I am rather happy with the purchase, and would recommend this monitor if you can get it for around $350 or less.

Unboxed this monitor looks beautiful. Plugged in, the options buttons made it awkward to navigate. Screen resolution is not what I expected. But I will have to call customer support to see if I can press a button to improve it. I was able to plug in my monitor and use it on my laptop. But when I went to dual displays (I know how to add it folks) It wasnt recognized. Mind you, I have not downloaded the software to use this screen yet. Do I need to? I think so. I bought this because of Phillips has some of the best tv monitors on the market. Ok, I confess, I bought it for my home office. I telecommute. I have external bose speakers for ultimate sound. The monitor is not plug and play external sound. I have to call phillips. So I gave this monitor a 4. I don t think I should have to call customer service to do dual screens by using their plug into my computer. No troubleshooting worked.

Im happy with this purchase. Most monitors dont come with speakers (so Ive heard) but I suppose something is better than nothing. The curve really is nice and I LOVE the screen real estate.

Works as described. Using for work so don’t know what it is like for gaming but I love it. Love the fact that I can connect to my laptop via USB. I have it mounted to free up desk space.

Its a good size - though actually to big for my desk (thats on me). Im disappointed with color fidelity. Ive spent hours trying to calibrate the color and make it match the Macbook from which content is shared in my dual-monitor type situation and the colors are just always off. I also dont think it should take 4 hours of straight fiddling to try and get colors the same. Its not like the colors are way off, but Im extending my desktop and it duplicates the desktop background image and the colors are just different. It doesnt look horrible, but they dont match. I understand a Macbook is a better product than a standalone monitor like this, but its still frustrating. After about 9 months of usage it has started to flicker, where for a few minutes at a time it will just change its base color temperature. Its comparable to watching night shift take effect on a phone (and no, its not night-shift on my macbook) but the overall color temp will just sort of be more yellowed and less blue for a few minutes at a time, then itll randomly flicker back. Its visually annoying but not disruptive since all Im doing is emails and other boring work things. If I was gaming Id be furious, but Im just a spreadsheet jockey so its not THAT bad. Overall its fine, it does what I need, but Ill probably be looking to replace this in the next several months if the flicker continues or gets worse, or if the color differences begin to bother me too much.

This is a perfect usb c hub monitor. Price is very decent and quality is top notch. Philips has very good product quality, warranty and support. Works well with my Macbook pro, Dell, HP & Microsoft surface laptop. This is the best deal you can get if you are looking for 34” ultrawide monitor.

I originally ordered another brand of monitor but when it arrived it wouldnt work, it just flashed different colors. Amazon recommended I contact the manufacturer as it was under warranty and I thought new monitor already has problem vs returning and picking a different monitor. 2nd choice won and I am glad. I wasnt familiar with this brand of monitor but it met my search requirements and had good reviews so I took a chance and have not been disappointed. Ive been using this for 8 months now and am very pleased, I have had no problems at all. The colors are great and there are no blank or dark spots on the monitor and overall it looks good. I would definitely purchase this brand of monitor again.
