> 24 hourThough the price seems a bit much for a simple sled as this, it looks nice, is well built and works as it should in my MacPro 5.1. If I were to replace more drives with SSDs in the future, this is probably the sled I will purchase.

> 24 hourQuality aluminum bracket on par with original apple drive sleds for 3.5 fit SSD right into old drive slot. of course a 500mb/sec SSD will only get 300mb/sec in the built in slots, but good enough for some purposes where max speed isnt critical.

> 24 hourEasy to install and just a little bit pricey, IMO. After installing it makes closing the side panel latch hard. I think the safety latch slot must not be quite right on this adapter. It closes, but with great effort and it makes me think something is wrong.

> 24 hourIt was a cold and stormy night. The rain pelted the windows, hail becoming more and more imminent as lighting cracked across the skies. I laughed maniacally as I removed the side of my beleaguered 2010 Mac Pro, seeing internals that were straining for life, but had yet to attain it. Its power disconnected, ports laid bare, and a gaping hole where the new brain (A Samsung SSD) was soon to be installed. I chuckled as another flash across the sky sent power surging through the neighborhood.
