I bought this for use with my Dell XPS 15 9560, which is a bit wedge-shaped and has a ridge that is a rubber foot running most its length. I was worried that these factors would lead to wobbling or an otherwise poor fit in this unit, relying as it does on a clamping effect to keep it secure.

This works great with my 13 MacBook Pro. Very heavy duty and adjustable. I like it.
