Quite impressed with the hinge sturdiness. BIG plus that the notch at the font of the holder does not have a cross piece that interferes with the charging cables. Very pleased with this stand.

I was looking for a stand to help make my desk a little more comfortable for longer sessions while editing. I picked up this mini iPad stand with hopes that it would help. In my case, I am using the stand to prop up my Blackmagic SpeedEditor so that I can more easily see the buttons and make the reach a little more comfortable. I realize that I am not using this as designed but with a little trial and error, I found a usable position. By lowering the arm and setting it base back, it works fine. The hinges are strong enough to hold the SpeedEditor but the base is a little small to balance everything exactly where I originally intended. This is not the fault of the product which can easily hold an iPad or even a phone in the original intent. Overall, I am pleased with the style and quality of this product.

Works good for what I needed it for

Purchased to travel with. This foldable stand is great to use at the airport, on the plane, any location needed while traveling. When folded down, fits in backpack without taking up any extra space.

Great product for the money. Must position carefully while 12.4 Galaxy 7s tablet placed in portrait orientation. Stable while tablet lies sideways, provided stand riser -- where tablet sits -- is positioned at an acute angle to the base. Set portrait, in order not to tip stand sideways you must use two hands to press large tablet power button. If you plan to set it and forget it, its great -- otherwise just be careful of positioning each time you unfold it. It actually tips over while unladen if you position holder too steeply. Should not matter, but lighter material for the holder piece would be an improvement -- probably an expensive one. Good design tradeoffs for the money. Note none of the mini stands in this class can hold device anywhere near ergonomically sound eye-level.

A friend highly recommended this item and I am extremely pleased at the sturdiness and versatility of the stand not just for mobile phones but for small electronic tablets. The viewing angle can be adjusted in so many ways to suit ones preference. Highly recommended!

I like the size. It is very sturdy but folds flat to a compact size.

I now have 2 of these I keep in different rooms. It does a perfect job of keeping my iPad at the perfect angle to read or watch videos while sitting. I set it up once and havent had to adjust it since. I like that I can put my iPad on it or take it off immediately without having to undo clamps.
