I really like this mouse. Not a gamer but so far the mouse works great and is very accurate. I find the built in Qi extremely convenient. The ambidextrous features are a smart design and make it possible to have extra buttons, though I don’t know how easy it would be to use them.

This is my first time using OMEN by HP Photon products. However, this wireless gaming mouse is a game changer! I own a several gaming mouse but so far I haven’t found a perfect one for my big, left handed user friendly gaming mouse until now. This gaming mouse has adjustable finger rest, changeable parts are connected via magnetics which makes switching out parts extremely easy. I have big hands and this does feel comfortable on my hand to grab without having pain. This gaming mouse is worth the price and the mouse doesn’t feel cheap at all. It has nice weight to it. Overall, this mouse is 5/5 star.

Qi charge is cool and so is the sensor location for finger-tip grippers...but sadly it was just off on its design between the buttons and weight.

Finally, a wireless gaming mouse that equals the performance of a wired one. this mouse is fast. The estimated battery life is an impressive fifty hours. This seems accurate and it charges via any Qi-enabled surface. The lights and buttons are programmable. The finger rests are removable and the mouse is ambidextrous. It takes some playing around to find what conformation suits you best. Dedicated gamers will find the eleven different buttons useful; I found them gratuitous. I enjoy games but am not rabid. My brothers however are and absolutely adored this mouse. It is a pricey proposition especially if you spring for the related mousepad. But the convenience of fewer cables and superior performance makes this a winner.

Overall design is sleek, but has some small issues right out of the box. The side plates for the thumb rest tends to be uncomfortable based on where your fingers rest. Fortunately they are removable. The mouse is fully reversible; all parts can be switched to the opposite side to create a left-handed mouse. This includes side buttons. However, the covers for the unused side buttons are loose and have a tendency to scratch your fingers. This can be avoided easily enough by removing the cover. The wireless functionality (being one of the most important features) is quite impressive. Normally there is a tradeoff wherein the dpi, responsiveness, or overall accuracy of the mouse is diminished by going wireless. For this mouse, there was no noticeable impact when switching to wireless at all. The mouse responds instantly and moves without lag. It has buttons beneath the scroll wheel to swap between DPI efficiently. The product description boasts 11 programmable buttons, but in practice you likely wont use all of them. This is because that includes the mirrored side buttons, which are quite unwieldy when not next to your thumb. In addition, two of the buttons come from pushing the scroll wheel to the left or right. While this likely comes down to personal preference, I found them rather difficult to use while gaming because I typically like to keep my fingers arched as opposed to spread across the button (this is also from playing FPS games, other kinds such as RTS may find this to be more useful). Once again, this will be personal preference. As a small note it is worth noting that some buttons, like the wheel buttons, need to be programmed/assigned a macro before they are usable in game, as only the thumb buttons are recognizable right away. This is easy to do with the Omen Command Center. With the Command center, it is fairly easy to change the settings and macros, and you have options for dpi ranges, how many range options you want, besides the mouse light colors (you can customize both the wheel and the logo separately). This mouse is really fantastic. However, if you aren’t a serious gamer, some of these features might be superfluous accessories for you.

Fits the omen setup perfect. Battery lasts through 3 long gaming sessions well.

I bought it for $50 instead of $130 and have no complaints. Have an HP OMEN laptop and like the fact I can use the Omen Light app to sync the keyboard and mouse lighting. If you see it for sale, its pretty great.

As always, all Omen products look great paired together.. It can definitely be used for gaming or work - its a great mouse, battery life is insane and the removable side wings are nice to have. But if youre trying to grind ranked shooters or something a bit more intense you might want to keep a spare comp mouse with some glass sliders and removable/adjustable weights. The ONLY downside i can see with this mouse is its weight. Could be due to the wireless charging battery but it seems heavier than standard.

Overall the product is exactly as described, after trying a number of other devices over the years this one has performed very well so far.
