Fits the omen setup perfect. Battery lasts through 3 long gaming sessions well.

Theres 0 support for the Outpost. The product number, serial umber, nada. It died on me the other day after 14 months. Just outside of warranty if I could even register the product which I cant because it doesnt recognize any number on the device. Disappointed. I liked the wireless charging feature. No idea what happened cause it looks fine.

So my ONLY complaint about this otherwise awesome mouse pad is the description. In the description (at least at the time I write this review), one of the bullet points is Qi wireless charging - Charge your wireless gaming mouse and Qi-enabled devices such as smartphones while you play The key words I read there, and lets see if others think the same, was the While you play. So here I am thinking, Oh wow, so this pad can keep my wireless mouse charged while I play! Awesome! So I ordered this as a bundle with the HP Omen mouse, which has yet to be shipped (thanks, COVID), excited that I can finally ditch the cord and game for long bits of time without having to worry about the mouse dying in the middle of a tense gaming moment. Unfortunately, when I unboxed the pad, I found that this mouse pad only has a small charging spot for devices, with room enough for one device to sit on. It does work. My phone is charging on it as we speak. But my hopes of having an actual pad surface that keeps a mouse charged DURING gaming again went up in smoke. So I am now back to knowing there are no pads like that out there. Still, thinking this was the first pad that could do that, I bought it, and I am still somewhat okay with the purchase. While my main purpose was the expectations I ranted about above, the pad itself IS a very nice pad to have. Its HUGE, so do NOT expect this to be a portable hard surface you can pack with your laptop and take with you. You will NOT be doing that. But for at home on a desk or table, this pad provides a large, nice surface to play on. It also lights up nicely and with the HP Omen software can be customized on the lighting. I do have to point out that if you do not have the matching wireless mouse to go with this pad, and end up using a corded mouse, the cord WILL catch on a device you might have charging while you are moving the mouse around. So the wireless charge spot is only useful if you use this with a wireless mouse. I will not be wireless until Amazon ships the mouse I ordered with this. Would I recommend this pad? YES! I actually would. I just wanted to write this review to let readers know in detail NOT to expect a surface that charges your wireless mouse while you play, as the description leads you to believe. Cheers.

I really like this mouse pad. Unfortunately mine had a defect which made the outside rgb lights not light up. Returned it for another and it works great! The mouse glides over its surface and it charges my HP Omen Photon mouse quickly.

Qi charge is cool and so is the sensor location for finger-tip grippers...but sadly it was just off on its design between the buttons and weight.

Ive tried dozens of gaming mice, both tethered and wireless. They all have their positives and negatives and this one is no exception. What I like the most about the Omen is the hand comfort. It truly cradles your hand and I love that it has removable wings to rest your thumb and pinky on--a great feature. The mouse is incredibly precise and has zero connection issues (such a big deal as Ive used some wireless Razer mice that would drop connection at the worst possible times). I also love that I can charge it on the same Qi charging pad I use for my iPhone and Airpods. Everything can plop onto the same surface! Fantastic! The only thing I dont love about the Omen Photon is that it doesnt give you a low battery notification. Would love to see this implemented in Windows 10s Notification Center. Sometimes I forget to drop it onto the Qi charger and it craps out mid-day. Other than the notification issue, this is a fantastic mouse that I have no hesitation giving 5 glowing stars to!

By default comes with 7 buttons, but its really nice feel mouse, and now matches my Omen keyboard, personally I like it a lot, responsive, good battery life, I just dislike the Omen app, but thats another subject, but the mouse itself, is really good!
