I started having issues with the mouse out of the box. It started as minor cosmetic issues (I would select what color Id like the OMEN logo to be from within the command center, and it would last no more from 5-10 minutes before it would chose which color to be on its own)... about a month into having the mouse the real issues started. Seemingly out of nowhere, the actual functionality of the mouse goes down the drain. Sometimes its the right-click function, sometimes its the left-click, sometimes the scroll wheel will not work, and the DPI of the mouse will randomly be reduced a significant amount to the point where I cant play with it. If an HP representative reads this, PLEASE contact me for a replacement

Solid mouse, quick response but its not QI friendly. I bought this mouse specifically for its wireless charging because I have a QI charge pad. IT DOES NOT CHARGE ON THE PAD. Disappointed because thats the main reason I bought this mouse. Unless you buy its specific charge station, its not wireless charge. For those who dont mind a wire charge, its a good buy. But if your like me and bought this specifically to avoid wire charging, keep looking gamer.

got a wireless charging mouse from a work sales contest but needed a charger. found this. nice mousepad. glides smooth. the wireless charger itself is small. very very small. gotta be right on it. it works great tho. mouse has to be OFF to charge. but it does work. mainly use the charger for my phone while i game. i like it

seemed great a t first but it has random periods where it has major lag. Seconds of lag. Its really ridiculous. It seems to occur less often if the mouse is plugged in to USB but it does still occur. I have tried this on multiple computers running win 10 and win 11 and it acts exactly the same on all of them. It doesnt matter fi the usb plug-inis inches or feet away from the mouse. Worthless.

Ive been a fan of the omen line-up for a while now. The design language is very hit or miss but boy is it a hit for me. Ive been a fan of their futuristic spaceship look with the sharp angles and black brushed accent pieces every since my omen x17 laptop. I had the reactor wired mouse and while it was very well built, the metal cord was a bit of a drag for me... Literally, it felt like an awesome mouse but having to pull on a metal cable just wasnt sure doing it for me. The photon wireless mouse takes care of several issues. The build quality is superb, its rock solid and has very crisp and bright led zones (on the omen logo and scroll wheel). The mouse also comes with magnetic sides and buttons to accommodate several shapes and button layout. The mouse shape it similar to the reactor minus the adjustable hump, which is a shame because I loved that feature. With that being said, the mouse is still very comfortable. It feels Very nice in the hand and the ambidextrous shape makes it easy for lefties and righties, just swap buttons to your liking and youre good to go. The mouse pairs effortlessly and luckily comes with a small usb dongle like the logitech ones instead of some absurd gigantic dock/receiver combo. I have a few other logitech wireless mice and this is right up there with them when it comes to performance. If you have a wireless charging pads, you could also leverage the qi charging so that you technically never have to plug it in. There are a few things which I personally would have liked to see on this. The mouse is heavier than Id like. I tend to favor lighter mice when gaming (83g g305) So I would have liked it to be a rad lighter, it clocked in at 121 grams on my scale. Its not a deal breaker as I use a g903 and mx master 2s which both weight the same or a bit more. I would have also loved to keep the adjustable hump, that was a really nice feature. Overall the mouse is built well with solid components and features. Definitely another solid competitor in the wireless mice market. Thoroughly impressed, but not surprised, by omen.

Wanted a fast graphics computer for video editing and this has been fun. Im sure gaming - as it is intended - would be great also. Drone video and picture editing a breeze.

I’ve never been huge on wireless mice for computers, especially for gaming, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The mouse paired easily and since I have had zero issues with connectivity nor have I experienced any kind of delay or lag with movement. The sensitivity is highly and easily customizable and the side wings add an interesting feel to the mouse (though I do like that they’re removable if I’m not in the mood) The mouse keeps its charge for about a week for me, that’s with a little bit of use during the day and a few hours of gaming each night. I am going to look into a charging pad as that is an option with this mouse, which is really cool. Overall I am impressed with the quality and comfort this mouse provides. The easy sensitivity controls mean the non gamers in the house don’t have to whine about hating the mouse when they use the PC, they can just quickly adjust it themselves.
