> 3 dayI like this paste at least as well as MX-4. I tend to use the Noctua paste more. Spreads easily and consistently and just works. It is not too runny and stays in place. I use the spread application method to better control how much paste is applied and to be sure it has complete coverage. Use whatever method works for you, either way, this is good stuff. Ive tested many and the Noctua is at least as good as MX-4, and better than many other popular brands.

> 3 dayMy old Toshiba laptop died about 6-7 months ago. Id had it since 2013 and it ran smooth (but slow) for the longest time. Then the fan made a weird noise and I got a notification telling me something like Cooling system not working. Please shut down immediately and take to repair services (Im paraphrasing a bit, but that was the gist). After researching laptop home repairs and disassembling the bottom to get to the main components, I decided to replace the fan but just to be sure it wasnt something else I also decided to replace the heat-sink and thermal paste (two terms Id never heard of before since Im am no laptop expert). I wasnt sure what kind of thermal paste to get since nobody had a definitive answer on just one type, so I took a gamble and went with this stuff. Anyway, Long story short, it works and my laptop is now running again with no problems (other than sunning slowly like it has for years which isnt because of the parts or thermal paste). Just be sure to watch a lot of videos on how to replace/apply this stuff if youre new to making repairs/replacements and dont want to go to a repair shop.

Easy to apply
