Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4, Premium CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

This cooler makes my Ryzen run way cooler than with the stock Wraith cooler. If this thing was any taller, I would have to get a bigger case. Easy to install as well.

Absolutely incredible cooler for the price! Bought this as a replacement for the stock cooler and my pc has never been Better!

Was considering an AIO but went with this air cooled solution instead. Doing a fantastic job keeping my R5 1600 cool and is extremely quiet. Since I have a case without window I dont see it, so I dont worry about the colour either.

Great cooler. Fantastic build quality. I had a Cooler Master Hyper D92 and I needed a AM4 kit for it after starting a whole new build with a 2600x. I bought one for free from Cooler Master and after waiting a week, I got the bracket mounted to the mobo just to find out that CM didnt drill the mounting holes on the bracket the same size as the actual cooler. Frustrated, I went looking for other AM4 coolers and the pickings are slim. I found this Noctua one and unlike pretty much every other AM4 kit for air coolers, most of the comments explained that this kit actually does fit. I installed it in 5 minutes and it thankfully comes with mounting brackets for two different orientations (back exhaust or top exhaust) which was a build saver thanks to the mobo I have. Buy it, its better than all the rest and its not even close. Also, it comes with a screw driver and thermal paste which isnt even necessary considering most competitors dont do this but Noctua went above and beyond so it can be a truly all in one cooler solution. I see temps about 15c lower than the garbage Wraith cooler and thats with the 2600xs stock turbo boost that hits 4.2ghz at 1.4+v.

If you can afford it, go Noctua. I cant think of any downsides to this CPU cooler other than the higher price. For me, the improved mounting system alone made it a better option than the Hyper 212.

Extremely quiet. Slight difficulty installing. Just barely start first screw or second wont start. Not a big deal. Little pricey & if you want better color I believe it just came out in black.

Ive always wanted a Noctua cooler. Saw so many great reviews. My build is all Bequiet. Case and fans. Was gonna get the Dark Rock Pro 4 but the size and installation looked odd.
