Noctua NH-U12S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-F12 120mm Fan (Brown)

Acheté pour refroidir un I5 6600K dans un node 304.

Ich hatte erst Sorgen wegen der Größe und dem Anpressdruck für die CPU. Den Einbau empfinde ich als leicht und sehr gut beschrieben. Die Schrauben lassen sich nur bis zu einem bestimmten Punkt fest drehen. Die CPU läuft im Idle bei 32°. Da man den Kühler vertikal oder auch horizontal einbauen kann, dürfte es keine Platzprobleme geben.

This cooler is really quiet but it hardly absorbs heat from cpu. i replaced 20$ cooler with cooper pipes (which was quite noisy) with this one. old cooler was able to keep cpu at 45-50c at 30% load and with this new cooler it goes up to 65c. i didnt used too much thermal paste to block heat dissipation so i guess this cooler uses bad material to transfer heat or something else.

I did not give this unit 5 stars only because I dislike installing items like this on my computer (because of the work involved). My computer is located where it is not easy to access the items inside of it. However, this does not mean that the product itself is responsible for this problem, I am. The product came with all of the items that were necessary to install it on my AMD motherboard. Once I got all the mounting hardware installed, on my motherboard, the cooling unit was easily installed. I like the easy way that the fan mounts to the cooling fins as this makes it easy to remove and reinstall when checking for dust blockages on the cooling fins. I had to remove my previous cooling unit because of temperature problems and then I was then able to see that this was caused by dust blockages. However, I had to remove the unit to see this problem. Unlike this unit, cleaning my previous (liquid) cooling unit was difficult. In addition, a liquid cooling unit always has the possibility of pump failure, which can not be easily diagnosed. This new unit is working fine and keeping my CPU cool. If I need more cooling, I can easily add another fan to this unit.

Easy to install and super quiet. Very happy with product.

This has to be the best cooler I’ve ever had. It runs all my games at 61 degrees C and no stutters at all on high settings for all my games. Before I ran recommended settings and ran 75 degrees C and stutters. By far, this wins the best cooler in my book for Budget wise, and of how efficient it is. If your just getting into parts you need or your experienced. This is one of the best in my opinion.

I loved this fan when I got it, the packaging was top of the line and the fan itself looked really well made, but sadly I returned it as it would not fit in my mini itx build. Before buying check you clearance in the case with mother board installed.

It was extremely easy to install the only problem with it is the color of the fan and no customization.
