26-09-2024I installed this on a MSI MPG Gaming Edge Wifi B550 with a 5600x inside a Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact and I have never once heard the pc fans actually spin up even under heavy load gaming (Max Settings at 3440x1440 144hz)

Greater than one weekComes with hardware to mount 2nd fan, if you need it. Dropped my temps more than 25C from stock fan on Ryzen 5 3600. Super quiet. I had 170mm of space in my case, this measured 168mm, it fits perfect. Very impressed and hope to use this a long time.

Greater than one weekUnboxing was a pleasant experience. Noctua really put attention to detail in the way they pack things together and give you lots of extra bits in case that you need them. In my case I used the included AM4 backplate with my motherboard and installation was really easy. Took me 5 minutes in total, remove the old Wraith stock cooler, clean paste, reapply paste and screw in new cooler.

> 3 dayMy pre-built pc came with a really poor cooler atop the ryzen 3700x. At times during games and running a a modest stress test I was seeing readings in the low 80s Celsius. With same stress test and same room temperature, this noctua cooler only hit 62 Celcius. I was stunned. My fan curve was set to start ramping up at 60 degrees so it was just silence. Everything in the box has the look and feel of high quality. The contact plate on the bottom of the heatsink is really smooth so not much thermal paste is needed.
