Greater than one weekYou better have a big enough ATX case for this cooler. I used it for almost 6 months. I got decent temps with the Noctua, CPU 43-45c at idle. However, I made two changes that dropped temp almost 10c on both CPU and GPU,. 1) AIO cooler for CPU and 2) Vertical riser and custom fans for GPU. The Noctua was like having a base board radiator in the case and it was heating the air in mid-case and restricting air flow. Maybe a bigger air flow case would have been better for the Noctua.

> 3 dayFits in a Fractal Meshify C tower on a Asus TUF z390 mATX board due to its 120mm fan profile.

> 3 dayBought this cooler for my daughters PC, we were upgrading from an i5 (stock cooler) to an i9 with this bad boy. Went to install the new processor and this cooler and the PC would NOT boot! I thought I had messed something up, went through the whole install again and same result.

> 3 dayWas baught for Ryzen 7900X, but top CPUs of the 7000 series of AMD is too HOT for this cooler. 95C thermal limit after 3-4 seconds at full load, but frequencies holds around 5,2 GHz - a little bit closer to factory 5,3GHz, but not anough . I recommend NH-D15 or AIO.

24-09-2024I have an i7-12700KF with BIOS AI Auto overclock turned on. Under heavy load with games like Battlefield 2042 + Browser on with video playing its at max 66 temp. Ive never seen it go higher.

> 3 dayIve been an avid nhd15 user. No more. I will now be using the u12a for future builds. I just built a 5950x system with a u12a and it keeps it from loosing its cool. Mid 80s when PBO optimized, same as the nhd15 i tried on the same system :) In my mind, its quieter and is not an eye sore in my case blocking the pretty ram that Ive got or causing me to loose skin trying to pull out my video card. As stated before, the temperatures seems like its the same as its bigger counterpart. The only negative thing that I can think of is that I did have a couple of bent fins but they were easily bent back into shape.
