> 3 dayIve been a fan of Noctuas products over the years. Coming from NH-D15s with dual fans on my AMD Ryzen 9 5900x CPU, I can say NH-U12A is an excellent performer to compared to the D line coolers. Installation was easy and straight forward, I used this cooler with NT-H2 thermal compound and it was the way to go. it reduced the CPU temps by 2-5 degrees °C, the CPU idle temp is around 31 - 33 °C, CPU temps under stress test 100% utilization doesnt exceed 78 °C. Im very impressed by this cooler from aesthetics to performance to everything. I highly recommend this product its worthy to consider and invest in.

> 3 dayPerformance aside, I paid full price for a new cooler and was sent one that had been damaged. The heatsink had several bent fins and all of the bags of screws had been opened and were strewn all over the package.

> 3 dayWhen youre looking for a CPU cooler that peforms as well as, if not better than an AIO water cooling solution when properly installed then look no further. Noctua is the king of the road when it comes to fans and PC cooling devices in my humble opinion and this cooler is no exception. Installation was easy since this was a brand new build. The kit came with everything you need for almost any modern CPU socket/form factor. Noctua thermal compound and a batch of other accessories make for a thoughtful touch and its much appreciated. The system barely got warm running a series of full system stress testing during my burn-in cycle. Overall Ive always been and still continue to be a fan of Noctua products. Its nice to see a company take pride in its work..

> 3 dayI liked this cooler even if it was always going to be temporary. Just make sure it fits your case because mine was a few millimeters short so I couldnt close up my case and had to return it. Seemed to perform well cooling a 12900K though so in all its a good one.

> 3 dayBrittle connection to the connector. Wiring appeared stiff from old age.

> 3 dayHo sempre avuto dissipatori stock su intel i7 9700, dove le temperature in gaming su Warzone arrivavano anche a 98 gradi. Oggi, dopo averlo montato e dopo aver giocato per 2ore, ho riscontrato picchi di 80 gradi, con ina media di 65 gradi! Inoltre le ventole sono silenziosissime!!! Super soddisfatto!!!

> 3 dayI opened the box and could not help but laugh at the size, this thing is huge and must weigh over a pound . My first thought was that it was comically large. In the pictures you can see it sitting on the CPU, and it size compared to the I/O plate of the mother board, the second pic is it sitting next to the stock AMD Cooler that came with my Ryzen 5700G. The instructions recommend you take off the cooler before transporting it because you dont want that weight bouncing around while attached to the MB. Its big.

> 3 dayAt first I was going to do an AIO route for this second build and decided on the Noctua NH-U12A Chroma.Black for the simplicity and quiet operation to cool down my Ryzen 7 5800X.

> 3 dayMy cpu temperature was above 90c degrees for a while that I realized the water cooler pump stopped working, then I bought this air cooler and it solved the heating problem and even cooler than the water cooler, very satisfied with the results. Highly recommended.
