Amazing works better than expected

Installation into a Fractal Designs Define R5 case on a new Intel I7 chip was simple. Ended up mounting the optional second 140mm fan in the back of the case and moving the stock Fractal 120mm fan to the front as a second front fan. This setup is dead silent while moving a ton of air!

This is a great CPU Cooler (Noctua NH-D15, Premium) and much better than some other popular versions and makes out there. (and that included the Noctua Redux versions) This thing works! Its silent, and it cools like it means business. If you can get it in your case (its big) my advice is to just buy it already. This cooler is the next best thing to water cooling that you can buy. In fact in many ways its superior, but Ill leave that to the techie experts to argue over. This is the cooler to buy if you want one of the best air coolers there is. The Motherboard install brackets are solid metal (not plastic) and the spring type installation is easy as pie to work with, and the dual fan are silent when running at full speed. The cooler also doesnt interfere with the Ram slots on the motherboard either - Even high ram with heatsinks on them (due to its shape near the CPU) The box is loaded with accessories too. You have everything you need to install this cooler (for AMD and Intel) Anyone who has one of these coolers already knows what Im saying here. Just buy this Cooler, but make sure you can get it in your case, so measure your available space very carefully. Its a beast! Im 100% happy with this product. (and Ill not be going to water cooling) because theres no need to with this.

Love this fan, its a total beast.

Installed it on a AMD 5900x with only one fan (not enough room for the second fan) and the temperature in idle is between 25 and 35 degree C and in full load it won’t pass 65. Installed in meshify 2 compact with an extra fan on top of the case. Was planing to install a second 120mm fan but no need.

Great heat sink well made

Little giant. Make sure you have a case that can take it. Heatsink going over the top edge motherboard had to install slim 15mm fans top and back and had zero gap installation lol. Keeps ryzen 3700x under 38 degree idle and goes 66 max with case fans and 70 degree with just heatsink fans. and it stays quiet. Case is nzxt h210, mobo b450i msi, ram corsair vengeance rgb.
