> 24 hourI live in a hot climate, so thats why I went with the NH-D15 as my cooler choice after the extensive research and reviews. I gotta say, the reviews were dead on. This thing keeps my i5 4690k hovering around 35 - 36 degrees idle, while my hottest core runs around 39 - 40 celcius. I think its normal that one core always runs slightly warmer than the rest at idle. During heavy gaming it reaches around 49 - 56 degrees, however, this is after a slightly more aggressive fan-curve adjustment.

> 24 hourIch habe mein 7 Jahre altes System aufgerüstet. Es kam ein Intel i7-7700K auf ein Gigabyte Z270-HD3P Mainboard in mein Coolermaster HAF 922 Gehäuse. Bislang hatte ich zur Kühlung meines alten AMD Phenom II X4 965 eine Corsair H60 Wasserkühlung eingesetzt. Die war jedoch mit dem neuen Prozessor hoffnungslos überfordert. Einen Test unter Vollast habe ich beim Erreichen von 94° CPU-Temperatur sicherheitshalber abgebrochen. Abgesehen davon hat der Radiatorlüfter einen unerträglichen Lärm produziert. Der Noctua ist nach wie vor der beste Luftkühler am Markt.

> 24 hourbest air cooling period. if your scared of liquid cooling like I am, then buy this no joke it competes with a lot of your liquid cooling. but beware it is huge, I couldnt use the second fan because I didnt have low profile ram but it still keeps a 8320 @4.4ghz running cool.

Mit dem Grasnd Macho war ich zwar auch zufrieden was die Geräuschkulusse betrifft, bei Test mit Prime95, AIDA64 oder anderen Tools kühlte er jedoch wesentlich schlechter als der NH-D15, also hat der Kauf sich gelohnt. Wie immer bei Noctua ein Top-Produkt.
