Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

This thing is massive. It barely fits in my BitFenix Shadow case. But it runs amazingly cool and with almost no noise. My case isnt really made to be silent, but I have to put my ear to it to hear the CPU fan running at load! Computer idles around 32 degrees Celsius. At load with gaming and video ripping/compressing it only reaches about 45 degrees. I used IC Diamond thermal paste and only have one fan attached because my memory is slightly taller than normal and my case couldnt fit the second fan set a step higher. If your set up can accommodate (check your memory clearance as well as your case size!), I highly recommend this cooler. Unless you have a case you can see into and dont like the brown and beige coloring, you wont be disappointed with its performance.

This is my second NH-D15, and Ill explain why Im giving it a three star review below. For starters, literally everything about the product is excellent. The packaging is top notch with beautiful printing on the box and excellent foam and cardboard inserts inside to protect every piece of the contents. The parts are separated into three sub-boxes that have diagrams and parts lists of what is inside each section. The instructions, while a little small, still clearly detail all the installation steps with clear instructions and detailed diagrams. The heatsink itself is hefty, came out of the box without as much as a smudge on it, and installed without any more trouble than you would expect from a component of this size (and it is huge). In fact, Im typing this on my computer which I just installed this in earlier today and at idle in an 80°F (27°C) room the hottest core on my stock-clocked i7 4930K is only at 89.6°F (32°C) with both CPU fans running at only around fifty percent! I did forget to mention the fans are super quiet and well made, although the color scheme is not one Im fond of.

big, big, big, it obstructs some of the ram slots, amazingly quiet for two fans, but it is very effective at keeping the chip temperature constant, I would really recommend it for anyone like me, who doesnt want liquid (coolant) in beside the gubbings

Sinstalle difficilement, mais fonctionne comme un charme !!!! Recommande!!!

As warned by others this is a beefy cooler so i could only fit it one way on my Asus Z97 Pro Wifi-AC with cosair vengeance ram (CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9R). Otherwise it looks fantastic and keeps my 4790K nice and cool on full load (around 50-60degrees) in a fan setup (fractal design r5)

When Noctua build a CPU cooler, we dont expect nothing else but perfection.... and guess what... with the NH-D15, Noctua did it again...

Montage un peu compliqué, ventilation trés silencieuse, par contre faire attention à la place nécessaire pour le montage, système encombrant mais efficace.

Er ist der beste Tower Kühler auf dem Markt.Er kühlt hervorragend und ist dabei relativ leise. Der Preis ist gerechtfertigt.
