works much better got better over clock setting with auto over clock with this than I did with h100

Amazing cooler, just make sure it has clearance over your RAM. I originally had it on an AMD cpu until I replaced it with an intel cpu. It comes with all the parts needed for both and was easy to install, disassemble, and transfer between rigs, even of different chip sets.

Man hört ihn nicht bis kaum bei maximaler Drehzahl. Ist zwar ein riesen Gerät und nicht unbedingt ein Hingucker, aber top!

Beutiful engineering. Runs smooth and silent. Overclocked i7 6700k to 4.5k and its only 55degrees under heavy load. Beating most water cooled machines!

I had a liquid cooling system on my cpu for about a year. I could barley overclock it without getting crazy high temperatures. My computer has even shut down a few times because of it. After switching to this though my CPU temperatures are crazy cold. I would 100% reccomend this item without a doubt. I am cooling a i7-9700k. The only Con was the size of it but well worth it to me.

The fan is too wide for this motherboard and covers up the 1st PCIex16 slot. The 1st slot runs at x16 PCIe3.0 speeds and the preferred slot for a single GPU. My only choice now is to put the GPU in the 2nd PCIex16 slot which only runs at x8 PCIe3.0 speeds.

Nach einem Upgrade meines Rechners auf aktuelle Technik (i9-9900k) überlegte ich ob Wasserkühlung oder traditionelle Luftkühlung mit Lüfter der bessere Weg ist. Da ich viel Simulationen spiele, die dem Rechner auch viel Leistung abfordern, wollte ich eine gute Kühlung und vermeiden, dass die CPU immer im Grenzbereich über 80 Grad dampft. Noctura hat den Ruf das nonplusultra in Sachen Lüfter und Kühlung zu sein. Und das in meinen Augen nun zurecht. Das Konstrukt ist imposant. Man sollte wirklich vorher prüfen, ob das ins Gehäuse und auf das Board passt. Eine beiliegende übersichtliche Anleitung ist leider nicht vorhanden, man sollte sich auf youtube nach Montage Videos umschauen. Dann wird vieles klar... Tipp: Vor Installation schon den Speicher einbauen und ggf. Lichtkabel anbringen. Man kommt später nur schlecht oder auch gar nicht mehr dran! Wenn es dann läuft ist alles in Butter! CPU wird auch unter Vollast nicht wirklich heiß... Beide Lüfter laufen auch dann noch im dreistelligen Drehzahlbereich und sind somit sehr sehr leise... Da macht sich dann halt die Größe des Monsters bemerkbar. Bei 2x 12cm Lüftern langt halt schon eine geringe Drehzahl, um genug Luft durch die Kühlrippen zu pusten... Am Ausgang habe ich noch 2 noctura 8cm Gehäuselüfter montiert, die bei steigender Temperatur (40 Grad CPU) anspringen und die Abluft direkt am Kühlerausgang aus dem Gehäuse blasen. Auch die sind so gut wie nicht wahrnehmbar. Funktioniert prima! Die CPU Temperatur ist bislang noch nie über 50 Grad gewesen! Im Leerlauf zwischen 25 und 30 - unter Voll-Last geht die Temperatur auf 45 Grad hoch... Zum Vergleich: Meine alte i7 2600 CPU ist schon im Leerlauf immer um die 45-50 Grad heiß geworden... War halt ein sehr viel einfacherer und kleinerer CPU Kühler drauf.

I ordered this to replace my Corsair H100iV2, which I suspected had stopped working because my cpu was reaching 100°C and I could not be happier. The Noctua NH-D15 is so quiet and thats without even using the included noise reduction cables that are supposed to allow the fans to run quieter. My pc is now consistently reading at around 30°C even after playing games for several hours. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a high performance, low noise cpu cooler.
