Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

Was a breeze to install on my 3900x, idles around 40F in my 80F room. Ive had to take it off a couple times to reach other components (this thing is huge) but it takes about 60 seconds to take it off and not much longer to reinstall. It runs very quiet load. I use thermal grizzly conductonaut thermal paste. I have only one fan installed otherwise it wouldnt clear my ram.

This cooler is extremely big, so you may need to check your RAM clearance before purchase. The instructions that came with it didnt disclose how to mount it on my particular motherboard, but after a quick YouTube search i was able to find a solution. Overall I think for an air cooled solution this will do the job very well.

By far the superior air cpu cooler. Worrying about cpu temps is no longer a worry for my son when gaming for hours.

Easily the best cpu air cooler, as long as it fits in your case. I can only use the middle fan due to cpu clearance. Still function well

I used this to cool a 10850k and its phenomenal,the best air cooler in the game.Temperatures hardly go above 70°C under my heavy workloads of 4k video editing and rendering plus after effects workloads.

I replaced my Corsair H100i V2 with NH-D15 and it has shown to work better than the H100i V2. Temps with the H100i V2 were 64c to 67c during long periods of gaming on the cpu. Temps with the NH-D15 are 57c to 62c for the same amount of time played. I used HWinfo, HWmonitor and Aida64 to record the temps. I replaced my old paste on the cpu using the H100i V2 three months before ordering the NH-D15. The temps were about the same as before on the H100i V2 after I changed the thermal paste. I used Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut on the H100i V2 and the paste supplied by Noctua on the NH-D15, NT-H1. I have to say after seeing the results, I am very happy having switched to air cooling and going with Noctua.

Great product ..just very big

After lots of internet research and this cooler is one of if not the top air cooler. It looks fantastic and includes lga1700 brackets for the 12th gen Intel chips as well as brackets for all sorts of Intel and and sockets. It’s pretty big so you’re gonna wanna have a spacious mid or full tower, but if you value noise along with great cooling this is a great option. More quiet than water cooling with similar if not better results. It also looks fantastic with a matte black finish and great whisper quiet fans. Definitely recommend.
