Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

This thing keeps my Ryzen 7 5800x COOL! Usually 38-40c idling, and max ive seen it hit is 80c while gaming. Only gripes were is WAY bigger than i imagined and its a little difficult to access ram. It clears the ram but barely. Looks Very sleek once installed and the fans are Super quiet. My build is:

Ive used one so far on both a particularly spicy 3600 and a 5800x. Neither chip has hit 90C, though naturally theres more breathing room on the 3600. Clearance is a little funky for me but Im also putting this on an mITX board. 67 max temp playing AC Odyssey with my 3600 constantly at load.

Después de innumerables reviews, me decidí por el NH-D15 para un AMD 3950x con 16 núcleos porque quería utilizar un overclock no extremo. El resultado ha sido el esperado, la CPU está en temperaturas discretas sin recurrir al engorro de una refrigeración líquida. Esta potente disipador por aire ofrece más tranquilidad que una líquida porque el sistema es absolutamente sencillo con sus dos ventiladores. Una hipotética y rarísima avería de un ventilador es muy sencilla y económica de resolver, con la ventaja del segundo ventilador en funcionamiento. Incluso fallando los dos ventiladores, siempre estará el enorme radiador en contacto con la CPU, lo que permitirá todavía disipar algo de calor. Peor si falla la bomba de una líquida, no hay nada que refrigere y el ordenador está fuera de combate.

Easy to install. This CPU Cooler lowered my overclocked CPU temperature by 20 degrees !!! Dont use liquid cooling until you have exhausted fan solutions. A local computer repair shop mentioned that they get broken Desktop PCs, where the liquid cooling has leaked inside of the PC.

I purchased this and the box was completely fine, including the box it was inside of. Upon further investigation the heat sinks were extremely bent and damaged by someone who seemed to not understand how to properly mount the heat sinks. This is problematic because I thought I was getting a NEW CPU Cooler, not one that was used. Instead, I received something that caused over an hour of inconvenience and was damaged from someone deliberately bending metal.

It’s not that bad to install and it’s not that ugly brown I love it

Wow, what a difference this has made to my temperatures, and oh so quiet! Was so easy to install too, very well built, I would highly recommend this product 10/10
