> 3 dayAs with any Noctua product, its excellent. A little lighter than my D14, and I like that you can change the orientation to assist with avoiding other components on the motherboard. The ability to mount the fan (or 2) in low profile or high clearance is nice as well. Running games, the temperature only goes around 15-20C above ambient, which is great! I just wish Noctua would go away from the bland beige colour.

> 3 dayI was very disappointed when I opened the package to see that there was thermal compound already on the cooler as seen in the pics. A couple of fins on the cooler was also a bent at the edges.

> 3 dayWanted a quiet but substantial cooler for an i9 cpu. One of the problems is a number of air coolers are a tight squeeze in most computer cases. This cooler will likely fit most cases.

> 3 dayWell made. Cools so much better then the stock RGB 4 heatpipe cooler. Extremely quiet! 14cm included fan makes zero noise even at 1500 rpm on an open Lian li test bench. Amazing !!

> 3 dayA principal object of this review is to provide the seemingly neclected Dell user with a relatively comprehensive path and projected success in resolving the regular and even dangerous overheating issues which so many of us experience with standard CPU coolers and multi-core processors.

27-09-2024I decided to go with a top-down cooler for my mini-ITX build (ASUS STRIX B550-I) to cool my Ryzen 7 3700X, as well as provide airflow to the motherboard in a small form factor case (Cooler Master NR200). This certainly does just that, but beware of the rather cumbersome cable management that comes with this because of how the heatsink gets in the way of accessing some motherboard I/O and power connectors.

> 3 dayI went with the NH-C14S due to advertised limitations on cooler height with my Cooler Master Silencio 352 mATX case. I found out later that a taller cooler may have fit, but I dont regret the choice.

> 3 dayIt fits like a glove when you need a low profile, premium air cooled heatsink. This fit just barely in my Corsair Air Carbide 240 MATX cube case and on a Gigabyte GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 MATX mobo. I had to mount the fan on the bottom side to meet the clearance of the case, but if you have more space, you could add a second fan so that there are dual fans in push-pull config. I have it cooling an I5 6600K which is currently OCd and with Prime 95 running, Im still under 60C.
