> 3 dayThe build quality is very good, and the shape of the blades and frame improves the performance of the fan. Its not the fastest 120mm fan out there but its definitely the most (if not one of the) silent 120mm fan I tested so far, running on 1500 RPM. It has a good focused air flow which is great for cooling water cooling radiators or heatsinks.

> 3 dayThe Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120 mm premium fan is well worth the money. I use this fan to replace the one on the Deep Cool Gammax 400. Install was plug and play.

> 3 dayI fitted this as a case fan - and in hindsight the A would have been better. BUT the system can run with the fans at minimum (my BIOS sets this to be about 650rpm) and stays very cool. At this range with the case open about 50cm from my ear (as I tested) I could *just* hear the fan start & stop. With the case shut I dont know if the PC is running unless I can see some indication! (I did have to replace the disks for SSDs though :-). And the CPU cooler...
