24-09-2024I had a bit of a nerve-wracking experience installing it -mostly due to the high stakes (it is my cpu, after all!) and lack of experience. But everything I needed was there and since installing it Ive largely forgotten its even there.

> 3 dayBest fan manufacturer Ive found. Ive experienced fan failures and excessively noisy fans over the years, but never from a Noctua. I use them in all my computer cases anywhere a fan will fit, and my first Noctua CPU fan/heat sink combo (NH-C14 on a 1st generation I7 processor) is phenomenal. A perfect compliment for an SSD, you may have to look twice to see if the PC is on!

> 3 dayI recently started hearing a fan whine coming from my cpu cooler fan. Being since its a old Dell xps 8700 with a i7 4790. I didnt want to buy a cpu cooler for it since its never given me a heat issue. I was already planning to clean out the old thermal paste on it and decided to purchase this. I had already swapped out the rear fan about 2 years back with a noctua 92mm fan to help with the noise and improve thermals. Happy to say you dont hear it at all and noticing my cpu idling a little bit cooler with the stock heatsink attached.

> 3 dayI do a lot of custom builds whether it’s small electronics, emulator boxes, 3-D, print builds, etc. this is the only brand fan company I will use. Rocksolid great cooling you don’t even hear them on.

> 3 dayReplaced stock fan in our nx300d amplifier with this fan. A bit of a passion to do but the sound reduction is pretty amazing. I suspect it also moves a bit less air but am very happy with the compromise
