Installed this in a relatively old HP DesignJet 510. Once installed and rebooted, the HP recognized the card and set up was completed through the printers onboard display. Had worked flawlessly since installed. Allowed us to get rid of an old PC that was being used to share the printer.

Replaced an old JetDirect card (different model). Plug and play installation. Great product to breath more life into our printer!

i blew up a network interface a while back, so i needed a replacement. i chose this board, even though it was 10/100, rather than 10/100/1000, mainly because of the price. you can get a 10/100/1000, but it costs three times as much. other than that, the board appears to be working very well, and it will add some years of life to a printer that i really like.

Bought this a replacement for one of our HP 4100 series office printers. Very easy to install. Literally loosen the two screws, pull out the old one, insert the new one and tighten the screws. Thats it. These printers just keeps chugging along. We have two of them in our office, (HP4100n and HP4100dtn with extra paper tray/duplex unit). We have had them for some 20 years. Seems the ethernet print server boards quit working and have to be replaced about every six years or so. The printers get minimal maintenance. I have performed the Roller Replacement Kit cleaning once on each printer.

HP Jet Direct internal IO card is rock solid; excellent price too. Oldie but goodie since the printer it went into is probably 10 year old technology by now but the card does what its expected of it. Note that this is NOT an Avahi-compatible device so the printer wont show up on your iPad or iPhone as a possible printer target. For that you need a lot of geek man hours or a modern printer.
