> 3 dayThis is my 2nd purchase of this exact product in the last 2+ years. The first failed.. and I thought it was premature old age after less than a year. The 2nd one failed (in various ports but not all) within months.

> 3 dayNot much to go wrong with this. Plugged it into power, plugged Ethernet connectors in. Everything works. Nice solid metal feel to it.

> 3 dayThis ethernet switched worked perfectly for slightly longer than the warranty period (15 months) and abruptly broke. The only changes in circumstances were connecting the switch to a new router and having the ethernet cables removed then plugged back in (carefully, I thought). Three of the eight indicator lights no longer flash upon power-on, the indicator for connection 8 remains dimly lit whether or not a cable is plugged in, and no internet is passed through despite the allocation of IP addresses. Technical support were very generous with their time but no wiser than me as to the problem.

Greater than one weekI have a bunch of wired machines connected to my xFinity router through this switch. I took it out of the box, connected everything up, and it worked first time. No complaints. (It really is too simple to mess up - you plug it in, you plug in all the RJ-45 cables to your computers, and it just runs).
