Greater than one weekWe have found our selves in then need to increase the abilities of our home network. With the addition of Smart TVs and the different devices feeding the TVs, computers and things like thermostats, weather stations we had to add more ports for the hardwired connections we have added. We do not use WIFI for anything except phones and things that do not offer hardwired connections. It makes the security less of an issue this way and the speed is much better too. Very effective way to add the ports needed without buying a huge switch and use smaller units for individual rooms. Saves on wired home runs
