This product works great. No issues, Im very happy.

Works as intended. Plug and play with no setup needed, switches on wirespeed at Gigabit speeds as advertised.

As far as the setup goes this is honestly self explanatory to for the avid computer user with a technological background. It works as intended. Reliable product for data transfer. As far as speed goes there is nothing to complain about as it performs to its limitation of speed, but definitely is sufficient for the general network user. If you want greater speeds you would have to invest in something higher capability but this product performs as advertised. I recommend it to anyone needing to increase there network reach to other computers in your work space. Great buy, enjoy!

It is an unmanaged network switch and works perfectly. Nothing to do but plug things in and forget it! That is the way I like things. Netgear has always made good products and this is another one. The case is nice and sturdy, being metal. What else is there to say? IT WORKS!

New switch installing new cables this weekend

These are great for desktop port expansion. Runs 3-4 Gig devices simultaneously along with lighter load devices.

With more devices going into homes, i needed a larger switch to handle the wired connection. the Netgear fit the bill nicely and is inexpensive. if you need an unmanaged 8 port switch, i recommend this Netgear.
