set up central access point for better WiFi coverage

We ended up replacing a computer thinking it wasnt working when in fact it was the port on our switch that was bad. I did loop tests and determined that only 3-4 of the 16 ports were working. Created a ticket on Netgears website, got an email that I would be contacted. Now I see that they closed the ticket without contacting me and the reason they gave was that they didnt receive an RMA. I was never given instructions to mail it back and now I have an $80 pile of junk. There is no phone number to call and even though Amazon says it has a limited lifetime warranty, when I registered the product it had a big red X next to hardware warranty, phone support, and email support. Supposedly I have chat support but guess what? Theres no chat feature on their website. Unfortunately, these are not reliable.

This is a nice inexpensive network switch its unmanaged that allows you to expand your network with these. I have several of these in use in my house and have had no issues with them over the years

Plug & Play ready. Very easy to install

It was shipped quickly and packaged perfect. For whatever reason we thought it hooked up wirelessly. We struggled to hook everything up, but that was our stupidity. Contacted tech support through chat and that was super easy and helpful. She told us we were stupid, it not wireless. Just kidding. Once we got it hooked up we were good to go. NO COMPLAINTS.

Needed a switch to connect a bunch of security cameras back to an NVR and this switch fit the bill because I didnt need POE for the cameras. Works flawlessly - it was plug and play and has been perfectly stable for a very long period of time. Good value for your money.

I have many switches I use for NVR Video surveillance, and high end hone network testing, local backups and large file transfers. I got this as a backup but wound up using for redundancy to my network!
