> 3 dayThey sound good. Crisper than my Bose wireless 700’s, which can sound a bit muddled. I’m just wondering if I can find something even better in the 300-500$ range for wired. Edit: I like them A Lot. I’m keeping them. I found it funny reading about people saying too much bass, while I felt the bass wasn’t prominent enough. I realize in retrospect that my perception had been tainted by how absurdly bass heavy most other headphones are. What changed my mind about these Meze 99? Listening to Radiohead’s “Amnesiac”, an album am familiar with since it’s release, and an album which is more bassy than Kid A. … these headphones have the perfect amount of bass. Not too much. Not too little.

> 3 dayThe sound quality is absolutely amazing. However, Ive had them for only 7 months, and theyre starting to fall apart. The fabric of the inner right ear has torn off, and the left cup is coming apart. While these see daily use, nothing more strenuous than taking them on and off has occurred. Of the many headsets Ive owned, this has lasted the shortest amount of time before noticeable wear and tear was witnessed. Also, something important to note: one must keep their head absolutely still when using them. Any slight movement, and youll hear the metal/screws creak. Even chewing will cause this creaking. Working on multiple monitors while listening to anything, youll hear this creaking frequently while simply moving your head to see the other monitor. Its quite annoying. Overall, I dont think theyre worth the money Ive spent, and I wont be buying another set again.

> 3 dayThis is my first foray into Hi-Fi Headphones and I’m truly impressed. I thought my Bose Earbuds were good, but these are incredible. I’m hearing things in my music I’ve never heard before. I don’t know how to characterize the sound so I won’t, but they are amazing. They are incredibly comfortable. I wore them all night and they felt fine when I woke up. I recommend them to anyone wanting incredibly sounding headphones with amazing comfort. They are beautiful BTW.

> 3 dayGreat overall frequency response, better than my speakers. Nice and comfortable. These are not noise cancelling.

> 3 dayFirst, if you’re seeking an audiophile review move on. I’ve had my share of earbuds but no headphones. These are far and away the best sounding I’ve ever listened to! And they are built of high quality materials. They block outside sound well enough so you can just focus on the music. If you are a runner or jogger these probably won’t stay put on your head with all the bouncing. These are for sitting listening to music. For this they are WONDERFUL sounding and comfortable. My two complaints are (1) They seem too loose for my head (2) My Long hair gets caught in between little spaces/gaps and it’s a pain to get it out without pulling or breaking off my hair. NOT good. Works better if I tie my hair back.

headphones for 150 suck balls
Greater than one weekAfter ten hours of use, the padding on one side fell off. You can see the one drop of glue on the broken side connecting the foam padding they claim as noise cancella It is a plastic bond glue, Checked it.. It is not walnut wood, nor the connectors gold. I do not want my money back, I want to warn others not to get completely robbed.

> 3 dayI love these headphones! Theyre comfortable, light, beautiful, and sound incredible. The bass is prominent yet not overbearing. The midrange is detailed and musical. The treble is just OK. If theres a weak link, its the treble. I wish the treble was a little more forward. (However, this might be due to my old ears.) Overall, I dont think youll find a better set of closed cans for the price. Ive tried a LOT of headphones (and most were way more expensive than these) over the years, and the Classics are my favorite.

> 3 dayVery musical headphones. Bass is there for weight but not overly done. Top end is smooth with satisfying detail. Very comfortable to wear in a home environment. Not sure I would take them out in a mobile fashion. For me these headphones strike a perfect balance and bring about blissful listening. Listened with a Teac ha501 headphone amp and most of my previous listening was with v moda 80 and v moda 100 headphones as well as various Panasonic headphones.
