Picture quality is mediocre, but overall it is a decent monitor for what I paid. The 10-year-old Sharp TV/monitor it replaced has a much better picture (sharper images, brighter colors), but its 60Hz resolution was damaging my eyes. In this regard this LG is better. Would be decent for office work and such, but I would NOT recommend it for anything more than occasional gaming.

First off, I bought this an amazon used item, so this could have been issue with that item as I returned it. I got this monitor based on some of the reviews, and I saw some say its not best at text. But this monitor is so bad, its blurry, I do not know how anyone can do basic desktop work with it, I suppose that if you game and watch video’s its fine, pretty much like some TV’s that are great for TV but not fine computer text. To compare I have some old monitors that where not even 1080 and the text was sharper and clear to read, sure it’s a bit pixelated but its readable! I tried every setting I could think of along with windows clear type and the monitors built-in reading modes, nothing worked, it literally would hurt your eyes over time. The refresh rate is their the size and decent resolution, but for this price if this is how these monitors are it should be 300 or less, but to me I assume mine was really bad, that previous owner returned it. I asked others to come by and look at the really old monitor and this new one, and people were confused which was new because it was that blurry. Others state that they had exchanged units and the quality was not consistent, so I would assume some if not most where not as blurry as the unit that I had. It is sad because I have some nice LG monitors, large IPS ultra-wide and they cost quite a bit, and I have expectations that they were met with. In conclusion I would say be careful with used/open box, but this unit I believe QA was missed.

YES, I purchased 3 Different 32 inch 144hz 2560 x 1440 monitors - the Samsung and MSI, and this one - IF I could have done CAD and Graphics on the a CURVED Screen - the MSI was the Winner! Even over this LG 650F - BUT after 3 Days, it is too Off as a Screen for Graphic Design. I need a FLAT screen. X-Plane 11 is More enjoyable on the Gorgeous MSI screen, BUT the flight SIM works fine on this monitor too. The Contrast n Rich Bright Color is Better on the Curved MSI MAG321CQR monitor. BUT this LG 650F RULES for 32 inch FLAT Screens.

Bought this for my Xbox to play Red Dead Redemption 2 and other games. First off, the stand for this monitor is probably 5-6 pounds. It’s a heavy duty stand and it’s awesome. Secondly, the picture of this monitor is top notch. No issues with this monitor whatsoever. The price is high but the experience with your boys is totally worth it.

Amazing value. Ive bought 4 of these. I recommend downloading the Control App from the LG site to adjust your displays. 3 out of the 4 were perfectly matched out of the box, but one was a little out of spec. It was a tad green. The LG Control app fixed that issue for me. It allows you to access the RED, GREEN and BLUE tones of the display. Also allows you to control the sharpness of the display. Basically it gives you more control over the display. I cant recommend this product enough.

Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase but feel it prudent to remind others: THIS IS STILL A VA PANEL. It will absolutely exhibit poorer performance in motion than TN or IPS counterparts. Smearing, especially when pixels shift from dark to light colors, is quite noticeable depending on the scene. It is still something I am getting used to. That isnt to say I think this is a bad product. Good color, great blacks, refresh rate is incredible especially in faster pace games (particularly for someone like me who has lived a 60hz life for far too long), and when you compare it to IPS alternatives which are far more expensive for comparable size/specs, and TN alternatives which are great for competitive gaming but sacrifice contrast and rich color, it is a good value. Just know if you go with this product that there are compromises for what you are getting at this price.

I was looking for an affordable but good quality QHD monitor to replace my ancient 24” FHD monitor. The 32” size of this monitor is great. A 4K monitor at this size end s up with very small pixels so QHD seemed like a better choice. The style of this monitor seemed good. My only hesitation was that they didn’t include the power supply inside the monitor; it has an external power brick that I will probably lose at some point, making this monitor useless. Message to monitor manufacturers: no power bricks! Use the standard AC power input connector. There are very few perks with this monitor: no USB for peripherals, no cool LED lights behind the screen, limited inputs, no split screen. I could talk about the color and brightness, but there is no point. The one huge glaring fault with this monitor makes calibrating or even trying to adjust the picture moot. The viewing angle at the edges is so large at the distance I sit, that the color gets washed out at the edges. No amount of calibrating or adjusting can fix this. They should have made this a curved screen if they wanted to use such a cheap lcd. With all that said, my son uses it for school and games, and he has no complaints so I guess we will keep it.

Item arrived on time and was as advertised. Surprisingly nothing was damaged in shipment. Picture quality is better than what I had, but not as good as I was hoping for. This is a mid range monitor - not bad, but not great.

I gave it four stars and not five because honestly Im a little insecure given some of the other reviews I read about it. I mean, those other review make me think that maybe Im ignorant about what exactly a monitor is supposed to do or that maybe like being able to pick certain notes of vanilla and oak from a fine wine.. my eyes just dont see the subtleties. For me, this monitor is perfect. I am so happy that I wish I had the budget for two. I got this monitor after returning a Samsung 32 UJ590. Which had a resolution of 3840x2160 @ 60hz. That turned out to be a just too much strain on my graphics card.. but I wanted the larger size monitor. Now what I use it for is typical work station type surfing the net and office tasks and to play World of Warcraft. Again.. perfect for what I do. I love it. the 144hz is amazing. 1440p is a perfect resolution for size and function. The image is very crisp. I will say though after doing some research you may need to adjust some settings depending on your graphics card. I.e. I found that having response time set to fastest does not always provide the best result. And may had been why I was not satisfied with my Samsung. So, it may be a little frustrating to set up. Or depending on what you are coming from may change how you view how this monitor displays. The monitors I have before my short stint with the 32 Samsung are a 24 and a 27 1080p monitors at 60hz. So this is definitely a clear upgrade. And with a good video card able to push over 100 frames at 1440p (2k). So its clearly an upgrade for me and I am unable to see what the negatives and little nuances that might lead someone to give this monitor a negative review.

I didnt know i need this size until i got it. It is freaking massive compared to my old 22 monitor. Loved it right off the bat. The colors are nice after some adjustments. Great value for the price. The speaker is basically non existent and that is the only reason I am giving this monitor a 4 star review.
