if i could. i would buy 5 more. the controls are center bottom. PERFECT. the vesa mount dont block the ports. and the vesa mount is VERY stable the picture is great. and love the freesync from 48-144 via DisplayPort 48-144 via HDM x-)))))

Excellent monitor, probably has the fastest response time out of any monitors in this price range, I could barely notice any ghosting unlike the AOC monitors which had lots of ghosting. However, image quality can be pretty bad in dark scenes because the monitor doesnt seem to have enough black colors to display them, which makes it color band and have a bunch of dark squares on your screen. In my opinion its a good trade off at this price, you definitely do NOT want to have a slow response time which seems to be the trade off every other manufacturer is using. Tested Sceptre E244B and ASUS VG248QZ and chose this LG over the other 2. The build quality is fantastic. The only minor issue is the stock brightness was a tad high and stock sharpness was a tad low. Adjusted each and no more issues.

I purchased this monitor for my PS4 Pro. I know that the Pro can do 4K, but since most games give you the option of 4K or improved visuals/framerates, I figured I’d go with the latter. I have been beyond impressed at what LG is offering for the price. For only $175, you get a very good TN panel with high refresh rates, great response time, and vivid colors. Honestly, the image quality is so good that at times, I forget I’m looking at 1080p. Being VESA mountable at this price point is a plus as well. This panel unfortunately falls down when viewed at an angle like a lot of TN’s do, but when viewed from straight ahead, delivers a gorgeous picture and is silky smooth. It would be nice if it had HDR, but for the price, this monitor can’t be beat. If you’re looking for a quality gaming monitor for your console or PC gaming, this is a solid choice- highly recommended.

Last December (2019) I built new computer systems for my husband and me. I had purchased two 32 QHD LG monitors for our new systems that my husband and I both love. I needed to get a second monitor for video editing tasks, but didnt need (or have room for) another one as large. So, I did a little search and came across this one. It is nearly identical to ours main monitors, except its smaller at 24 and has a standard HD picture. The refresh rate of this monitor is quite fast and well suited to video intensive tasks (video editing, motion graphics, gaming, etc.). Weve had no problems with the monitor since purchase. The color was reasonably accurate out of the box and matching it to my main monitor wasnt difficult. Were very happy with LG monitors and have no reason to look at anything else. If youre looking for a great monitor with a nice picture, good color and fast refresh rate, I see no reason to look any further, unless you want to move up to a larger size. I bought this plus a Microsoft Surface to replace my wifes old desktop PC. It hasnt worked out because I have found it to be impossible to adjust this monitors picture to be anywhere near the quality of the Surfaces picture. (With the Settings in Windows 10, it is possible to have both monitors on, simultaneously, so, it is easy to compare them side by side). This monitor has many possible adjustments - which may be advantageous for a gaming monitor but it is not for a general purpose one. There are too many combinations of possible adjustments. The blacks are not as black as the Surfaces, the whites are not as white, and the colors are not as vibrant, no matter what combination of adjustments one uses. I took the Surface and this monitor to a nearby Microsoft Store hoping that an expert can adjust the monitor better than I can. A MS tech guy spent 20 to 30 minutes trying to adjust the picture. He too was unable to adjust it to be anywhere near the quality of the Surfaces picture. He gave up, eventually, with the comment, I guess this is as good as it gets. Disappointing, and a waste of money. My wife will probably never use this monitor.

Bought it cause it was one sale it’s a good monitor and cool but idk why but if you play Minecraft and move fast you see red pixels it’s cool tho
