It does it’s job I switched from a 144 hz and I can tell the differences right away my gameplay is a lot better

While the picture looked good, there apparently is an issue with some LG monitors and apple macbooks. We had a macbook air, and then upon returning from sleep, the monitor wouldnt start. When going into display settings, the monitor would work sometimes but in a glitchy way. sometimes there was a middle of the screen glitch, or a white noise glitch that would persist for a minute or two. its unfortunate because it looked great when it was working, but a good monitor should really just work without having to mess with many settings at all. Perhaps nonmac users will have no issue..

I cant believe I wasted over 4 years on a 75hz monitor... this switch changed my perception on what smooth looked like and I will never play on a monitor under 144hz ever again.

I recently moved from 23 or 24 inch to this. I have no knowledge whatsoever too anything above 60 hz since I am so used to being my max. This being said I am impressed you can see the difference in quality, and it also has this high definition aspect as well. If you were to turn it off, and on you like a light switch you can feel, and see the difference. I am in my 30s so sometimes depending what I am doing itll be really difficult to focus on the task w/o just doing something else. Ive also had problems with my eyes for like ever ... so as you can imagine I wear glasses, but even that only helps so much. Ive left images in this review to show you the differences - they may or not be noticeable,. but I hope it helps. The first two are with it on, and the last two arent. I was going to do a recording in livetime, but I think visuals get the point across a lot more.

Bought this to replace a monitor that died suddenly. Only meant to use a stop gap until upgraded entire system later in the year. So pleased with this monitors performance may just use it permanently. Great buy for the money.

Big fat full dead pixel right near the middle-left of the screen, unacceptable especially considering the price. If it was just a subpixel I probably would have kept it. It really sucks because the image quality and backlight seemed decent. Good luck with the panel lottery.

My son is very happy with the quality of the graphics on this monitor.
