I keep 2 tb hard drives in these cases.

It is pretty much just what I was looking for. One side of the case has two straps to hold the hard drive and a padded partition. The other side of the partition has slots for thumb drives or camera memory cards. And the other side of the case has a mesh pocket for USB cords.

The center protective flap just gets in the way and makes closing the case more difficult than it should be

Worked upon arrival and very easy installation for the Mac. Only time will tell on the Durability.

Simple and durable. The only thing I dont care for is the loop that is riveted for the carabiner to connect to, but thats a personal preference. I worry about actually using it to hold the drive externally (i.e. durability).

This case offers great protection for my portable hard drive. It has a hard shell outside and a medium/firm inside pillow that allows maximum protection. I would never intentionally throw this case down a flight of stairs, but I think this case could take it and the hard drive inside would be just fine.

This is a great case to protect you hard drive against bumps & dings but is not waterproof but water resistant & title should be changed before someone attempts to scuba dive or kayak with this thing attached to a Go Pro or something & lose all their data. I really like the 2 SD card size slots on the back of cushin pad & usb mesh pocket on the inside of clamshell & the elastic bands hold your HDD in place well. Ive not used the lanyard hookup feature on outside of case but looks as if it could be handy for different situations. Ive removed 1 star due to lie in title description but would still buy & recommend this product again.
