Im using this case to protect the portable hard drive I use to store .WAV versions of my music files. The case is very sturdy and well padded. The elastic straps hold the drive in place and the storage compartment is adequate for holding a couple USB cables. Ive not attempted drop testing, but I think the case is good enough to protect the drive.

This is a great storage case for my external storage unit. With the hard case, I dont have to worry about my unit being damaged when we are traveling. It is very compact, but it also has enough room, so that I can take along a couple of thumb drives if necessary.

The case is poorly constructed, from the irregular stitching to the flimsy partition flap. Mine had curled up on the edges. I could live with all of that, considering how cheap the price was.. but I couldnt get over the smell. It smells like a plastic factory had barfed synthetic chemicals all over it. No bueno!! Had to return it right away.

Nice compact case. Will easily hold Seagate 2TB HD but will also hold a 4TB. Pics are from a 4TB HD. Yes, the padded divider is a little short, b/c the 4TB is so thick, but if you need a good, small, portable case this works great. The divider also can hold SD/micro SD cards. It is easy to zip as well and comes with a carabiner.
