I purchased this for a 5TB external hard drive and its serving its purpose. The drive fits inside perfectly as well as the connecting cord. I was curious about the middle piece, I realize it provides additional cushion for the drive. I recommend it for the price and functionality.

Recently picked up a 4TB drive and already had a 2TB, both Seagate. Also have various SD cards and USB drives scattered about, wanted a better way to store and protect my devices. Ended up buying two for both external SSDs, which was absolutely perfect. These do barely accommodate the current 4TB models, but it does fit! The pockets are quite a nice touch, as storing SD cards and flash drives, as well as cables and misc. items (key-chain clip, strap) fit without issue with the external drives in place. The cases are lightweight, but extremely solid. The padding on the interior will indeed help offer protection. Couldnt be more pleased with these--highly recommended!

Its a little bit snug on the transcend 1 TB drive but it works and seems to be a good quality item. I recommend this item

Very nice and padded slender case, protects my Seagate drive from the cable compartment with the fabric separating flap. Love the carabiner to close the case but

Nice protective case! Has space for the cord so it all stays together! Wish it were just a hair bigger, it is a little snug but not too bad.
