I found myself needing an extra screen for my laptop. I am spoiled at home with multiple monitors but when I travel working from just the laptops one screen was just not cutting it. I ordered this monitor based on reviews, specifications, and a solid price point of $150. I ordered a black one to match my laptop set up and two days later my product was on my doorstep. (gotta love Prime shipping) I open the package and find it is a light grey one! I figure it was just a simple mistake and process a return/replace with the same item, noting that I had received a grey one and not the black item I had ordered. I rarely have problems ordering from Amazon but hey, it happens, no big deal. processing return went smooth and easy, and two days later my item is on my doorstep. I open the package and find A GREY ONE! At this point I search the box and nowhere can I find an indication of color on the outside of the box other than the picture on the front that is in fact, a black one! I call Amazon customer support and after about 10 minutes I am told that since the item is sold by a third-party seller Amazon is only authorized to process a replacement one time. I was offered to return the item for a full refund and once that process was completed I could place a separate order for the third attempt at a black one. I decided to just live with a grey one as that process was just not worth going through to end up with a third grey one... I plugged it in and it works great! The picture quality is very nice, it is 1080p so I didnt expect a 4k resolution wow factor, but it was impressive! nice color and brightness. appears to be well made and has a quality feel to the case and the monitor. Power and data over one USB-C cable make for a clean and easy addition to my traveling workstation, with my black laptop... and a very LIGHT GREY monitor :/ I would recommend this product, if you dont mind the color grey.

Used this product as a second monitor for work, while traveling. Had some issues after the first use and customer service promptly took care of the problem. I recommend it.

I’ve given these a month or so — they’re fantastic I put one on either side of my Mac: Mac on this stand (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HHYQBB8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) and displays on these stands (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074J159V5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) and the height is reasonably close. The USB-C cables that came were 50/50 for working: I bought these inexpensive ones (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085VRGB4F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) At a home office, this is a great set up. Each display is bigger (pixel wise) than my 15” Manbook pro. Set up and tear down is less than 2 minutes. The Mac remembers which display is right and left, so if I do too then the display arrangement is right each time. The USB-C cords I linked to power the displays fine. I’ve traveled with one display in my backpack, and had dual-monitor situations in a hotel or a coffee shop. No issues so far. Great for the price

Bought to be a 2nd screen for when I work remotely or while traveling! Loved that it came with cables to connect to and didnt have to buy them separately! Sounds quality isnt the best but I didnt need it for sound.

**Update**I loved how it got power and display by just one type c cable. Picture was really good and had no noticable delay. The case it came with is not very sturdy and will not protect the screen...I literally used this screen once and the screen cracked while in my backpack. *The company reached out to me and offered to replace the monitor at no cost. I was very happy with the outcome. Id probably recommend a case to keep this in.

Ive only had my new portable monitor for a few days, but so far Im extremely pleased with the device. It is exactly what I was hoping for. It is an extended display for my Windows 11 Dell laptop that only requires one cable (USB C for signal and power). The picture quality is as good as my laptop. The brightness is as good as my laptop. The colors are certainly satisfactory, but Im an business user, so I cant speak to the color quality for graphic design and photo editing. My only minor complaint is that case/stand. As a case, it is OK, but certainly doesnt provide any drop protection. All it is protecting against is scratches and dents while its in my laptop bag. Is that so bad, however? Because my laptop doesnt have any drop protection when it is out of the bag either. The case doubles as the stand and it is OK at best. It does hold up the monitor, using magnets and friction, but it would take much of a bump to send it flying or falling. Reading the instructions is helpful, as many people probably dont realize the bottom flap flips over for extra holding power. The weird thing is that it seems the magnet has reverse polarity from what it should. The top of the back of the case, if aligned with the top of the back of the monitor, actually repels instead of attracts. It still seems to work ok, but I do flip the screen around backward when I put it away, otherwise the case would be held about 1/2 from the screen due to magnet forces, instead of pulling tight. I think almost all of these monitors (other brands as well) have a bunch of negative reviews from people who didnt understand what they were doing. Many of them dont have a fully featured USB C cable capable of providing power and picture on a single cable. These folks will need two cables, one for HDMI and one for power. The monitor does come with both cables, just in case. I get the impression everyone expected single-cable operation, despite not knowing what their device (laptop, phone, etc.) would support. Some people even complained that a special cable was required for using it with an IPad or iPhone. Understand, this isnt the monitor manufacturers fault. It is the device manufacturer... or the user knowledge. Furthermore, USB-C just doesnt have very clear designations and specifications for everyday users. Lastly, some bad reviews are from people who purchased this for use sitting at their desk. Know what youre buying! There are better and cheaper options if all someone wants to do is use this at their desk. This is a great option for portability, but not what youd choose to buy if it is always going to sit on your desk and never move.

KYY screen had me excited the first few months and as I continued to use the screen continued to get worse and worse. My screen now has green flickering lines in the bottom with fuzzy pixeling throughout the screen all the while the screen continues to blackout because micro hdmi plug on the screen.

I do data analytics so high graphics isnt important. I just need extra screens for all the information. Got them new on special for Christmas. The resolution is low but I just need them for numbers. I bought two and daisy chain them. They use the power from the thunderbolt.

I bought it to use while traveling to South Korea. It is a great secondary monitor and works flawlessly. The only downside was that the manual stated it would work with a cellular phone USB-C port but it just does not: more specifically, it powers on, and on, and on, and so forth so you must plug a separate power to get this worked. Samsung Phone Users You must de-activate Samsung Dex to use as a mirroring device. You can deactivate it by scrolling down the drop screen to turn off the Dex icon. Pros Good screen quality, good build quality, the magnetic stand, cover, ease of use, ready for any device, and low price point Cons A cell phone connection requires an additional power source to work unlike stated in the manual. Speakers are not loud for large areas: it is only good for small rooms.

I am using this as a 3rd monitor and it works well. I had a small learning curve with setting it up, the directions are a bit confusing if you aren’t fluent in the technology but I got it and it works well. I haven’t tried traveling with it yet. I would recommend to a friend for sure.
