> 3 dayI bought these drives to replace the disc-type (and now old) hard drives in my Dell Mini 1011 net books. While Windows XP is long past being supported (or even usable), these netbooks make great Linux machines (Im using several Ubuntu variants at this point; 18.04 is the last 32-bit OS which is what these netbooks need).

Greater than one weekGreat budget ssd for boot drives or testing. It is d-ramless but if its just used for testing/benching or just a boot drive that you wont fill up, its a good ssd to look at.

26-09-2024Ive went through a few different hard drives in my attempts to repair my laptop. This is by far the best hard drive Ive ever encountered. Its insane how much faster my laptop is because of this hard drive!!! Im not a big computer wiz but I never ever new that hard drives affect the speed of the cpu,, I always thought it was the ram and/or processor. This hard drive definitely showed me how important hard drives are when it comes down to the speed of load-ups.
