I mean, what is there to say? It works really well. Its fast enough to fully use the sata3 interface and the actual storage is VERY close to the advertised storage. Seems to be very reliable. Overall, very happy with the purchase!

Kingston doesnt have same reputation as some other hard drive companies, but this works just fine as far as I can tell. It seems like one of those things where the difference in reviews is not the same as the difference in performance.

Didnt experience any of the issues other buyers had. The drive went in fast, took OS installation with no issues and is a huge improvement over the HDD the SSD replaced. For the price, this is a good drive for a glorified word processor.

I have an old Lenovo X61, and the wacom pen is more responsive than anything on the market today, so I wasnt ready to part with it. I used Macrium Reflect to copy my old HDD to this SSD. Along with a ram upgrade to 4gb, it is now capable of using all of my art apps with no lag, as well as most apps with 1024x768 resolution compatibility.

i am a tech that repairs computers on the side....i have used these drives for the last 7 or 8 years and never had one fail on me.....matter of fact i have never had one DOA and all have worked out of the box with no issues (cant even say that about samsung EVOs as i had 1 of them DOA)....yes there are faster drives on the market BUT not in this size at this price range with this level of reliability....

Did not have the opportunity to eval this because the one other thing I need to install this was not included. A screw. A very small, very tiny screw. I have no idea where I would get such a thing unless I purchase a bunch of them. In the Often Purchased Together section of the product page, it shows a computer case and a graphics card. You know what would probably be more likely to be purchased with this? A screw. The one thing that youll need to install the thing. Im returning it because its absolute B.S. that such an uncommon, tiny screw is not included. I shop online for a reason and its not so I can run all over town looking for a damn screw!
