    I had an Acer aspire 5920 that was more that 13 years old! This ssd was used in place of the hard drive and now boots in a fraction of the time. The user experience is like having a completely new laptop due to the improved boot time, loading applications, etc.

    I basically looked at ratings and the price was right during holiday sales. I wanted an SSD drive to use this for my pc back up and image. It runs cool and super fast! My backups finish a lot faster switching this out with an old 2.5HDD. Backups that took 1 hour now take 15 min. SATA connectivity so it is internal and fits in the caddy perfectly. It has a plastic case which surprisingly stays cool enough as not to be a concern.

    I purchased 4 of these drives and they came as two different models (both 240GB). The one model works in a Dell PowerEdge server (99C7015-014.A01G) and the other model does NOT (99C7146-001.A00G). It is a gamble what version you will receive - both say no firmware updates available. Just buy Samsung drives and know they will work...
