I love this stand because it keeps my auxiliary portrait monitor at just the perfect height and angle.

After buying the first stand, I bought another one. I was quite pleased with the stand. The joins are tight but that is a plus because it will not slide from the position you maintained. The base is flat with a cutout circle in the center of the base....no legs! It is very sturdy for my purposes. Now, I have one on the first floor and another on the second floor. I hated to change the placement from one table/desk to another.
