The boxes are of good, medium quality and not thick like ones you’d see from a high end jeweler. My only complaint is that the lid fits awkwardly—it looks fine, but seems like it’s a slightly incorrect size

This is one product that had zero flaws! They are made of strong cardboard material so they will NOT buckle under weight like others do! The fluff is perfect too for extra protection. This size is perfect for 1 to 2 pairs of earrings. I ended up buying bigger ones that can fit a full jewelry set from this same company because I love their product so much!! Very good condition! No weird smell! No broken boxes! Thick cotton! They are light yellowish brown. The only thing is the size. 3.5 is the outside of the box. Its 3.3 inside so if you are thinking about putting 3.5inch card inside like me, it wont work!! But Im happy with the quality of the boxes.
