very disappointing, I was expecting to be able to overclock this to atleast 4.7... ended up at 4.5 with avx 1. I didnt want to go any higher with voltages already at 1.4. I tried everything to get it the voltage down but this processor wasnt having it.

Le processeur est très stable et répond à toutes les demandes. refroidit par un s36 de fractal cest au top. 4.3ghz sur tous es core et 4.6 sur un seul. avec une 1080 ti tout tourne à bloc sans soucis en 4k. javais des problème de lenteur avec mon fx8350 sur gtav en 4k. désormais le problème est résolu. meilleur rapport qualité prix chez intel.

Insanely fast. Coming from a 2600k OC 4.4ghz 1.2v. Much less stuttering and frame drops in games. Overall faster and smoother experience. Main question for me was NVME vs SSD. The answer is, there isnt much noticeable difference when loading games and windows. Im about to have gigabit internet and I know NVME will definitely be useful. Started with the Hyper 212 Turbo and had decent temps. @4.7ghz synced. Little toasty under P95 and avx. Got up to 80C but thats not bad considering. I put it under water on my old EK block and temps are nice and cool. 68C max on P95. Running my 8700k @ 4.9 GHZ on 2 cores near stock vcore now. Temps stay a bit under 50C during most games. Very smooth experience. I did not buy it from amazon.

I did not like the fact that Intel and Microsoft decided to support only Windows Operating System 10. Both companies no longer provide hardware and software support for any other Windows based Operating System. This is not stated on the Intel Processors i7-8700 and up with Intel and Microsoft not stating that fact anywhere in Advertisements or packaging. That information is only available on their websites in the requirements and/or specifications that the general Amazon purchaser needs to know up front since it requires both products users to completely upgrade all hardware and software if they want to upgrade either product, Windows 10 or as mentioned Intel CPUs in the 8th Generation and beyond.

This processor is very fast and runs everything without breaking a sweat. Got a 240 AIO to cool it and everything runs fine.
