iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit

My husband had asked for an iFixit kit and for what we were looking for; tools to build our new builds and to take apart small electronics, this fit the bill. It has nearly everything we could possibly need. When it arrived I was seriously impressed with the quality and will all the gadgets/tools that you get in this kit!! The lid to the bits case is magnetic so if when you take screws out it can stay in the case lid without getting lost. Plus the lid has a grid pattern so it helps with remembering where the screws came from. Cant wait to use the laptop pry tools as Im hoping to upgrade some of the solid state drives. We also have a broken tablet that we want to open up and this kit has all the tools to do this. Highly recommend this kit for home or work.

very nice tools just wish sorting tray was magnetic.

This set is really nice I use it almost daily in my line of work. It has all the bits and everything you would need. I haven’t used the suction cups yet but the prying tools work great. Also there is a life time warranty I believe for iFxit tools which is nice but haven’t had to use yet.

So far I love it the case is plastic the outside surround is fabric but the tools are made of quality steel and so far haven’t had any issues with it

Great kit. I was replacing my battery on an old laptop. The battery supplier actually provided tools, but since I had ordered this kit with other computer repairs in mind, I compared - theres a noticeable difference. The iFixit kit allowed me to tighten the screws to a greater degree (an extra 1-2 full rotations actually). By comparison, the battery suppliers tools worked, but with subpar results- leaving the screws loose. I can only assume that they were either not sized well or had softer metal material. Ive had screws fall off in the past, so I am really happy with this investment to ensure no missing screws down the road.

This kit is really well thought out and high quality.

Decent quality nice array of bits in a small package. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. I have purchased less costly kits and the bits broke these hold up well. I would have given 5 stars if the cost was $10 to $15 dollars less.
