HTC Vive Tracker (3.0) & Vive Base Station

Im using these with a Valve Index for full body tracking. Easy to set up, and fantastic tracking accuracy. Note that each tracker needs its own USB dongle, so if youre planning to get three trackers for full body tracking be sure that youve got three USB ports available on your PC.

Soo much more battery life and much lighter than the 2.0

Check your boxes immediately. I ordered three of these, and none of them came with the dongle thats supposed to fit into the cradle. I didnt realize I was missing hardware, I just thought that the cradle was the receiver and couldnt figure out why I could only get my headset to recognize the tracker as a controller. By the time I realized what was wrong I was way passed any reasonable time to return.

I think you have to worry about positioning and interference with the RF from other bluetooth/motherboard usbs and proxmity and such.. Why? Well, it disconnects sometimes. Not sure why, and my hand is though to be the tracker as well. Remember to turn off the tracker and turn it on again to address that, but for the most part ready your headset, then your hands, then the trackers... itll assign them correctly that way. Plus the price is expensive. The tracking is really great! Smooth. The weight isnt bad for a waist tracker, really dont care about it.. so they did good there. Another thing though, yeah, ok. So, got two (2) used ones from them, and they dont come with the dongles or the cable or the charging port. I would be less inclined to gamble.. I suppose if you just want a tracker, go ahead, thats reliable. Beware if buying used from the amazon-warehouse theyre not listed properly and theyre missing items.

There are only 7 games that support Full body tracking and only 2 (maybe 3) games that are worth playing with full body tracking but the experience in those games is so amazing the price worth it.

Pros they work pretty well easy to set up and they help With immersion in some vr games bad news full body tracking isn’t supported for all games and it’s only a few that it is and they are expensive the battery life is meh but it works if you have an HTC or index where the controllers have the same battery life and then there are the rebuff packs which are 10 hour battery packs and the size and weight are really quite handlable as long as your over the age of 12 the only issue is price $100 per one is high and it requires base stations of some kind so sorry everyone using a normal cosmos or rift S / quest with link cable they are a cool flex to have but that’s about it hopefully they become relics as full body haptics suits become commercially acceptable

Ive owned my full full body kit for a while now and I gotta say its gone pretty well! I bought them to test out mainly in VRChat as well as Blade and Sourcery on the side. They were quite easy to set up via SteamVR but justified some time into calibration.

These trackers do their job really well. Ive been wanting full body tracking for a while to use in VRChat, and have not had any problems with these trackers. Sure they are a little expensive, but the market for trackers like this isnt too big. But after having used these for a while now, I highly recommend them if you want to be sure youre getting a quality, and perfectly functional, tracker. Also, if you want an alternative to buying $50-$150 worth of premium straps to hold them, you could buy a pair of crocs and a belt (or shoes), and mount them with a few bolts you can pick up from the hardware store. Just buy some short ones that are the standard size for camera mounting. I attached a pic of what I use. Have fun!
