Very nice little Chromebook. Performs and responds very well and has a nice feature set. The one small quibble I have is that this came with a free SD card and reader but has no SD card slot on the laptop itself, making the free SD card pointless with regards to this system.

I bought this as a primary means to use the browser for job hunting. For 7 days I spent more time trying to get to a website, sub-level of a website, etc. The diagnostic would say fine, and the signal would be strong, but constantly got an unreachable or try again. I cant believe a Google product would have so much issue, will not buy another Chromebook.

Disappointed that the keyboard isnt backlit. I thought that feature was standard. Also, the touch pad is WAY too sensitive. On the other hand, it is fast and the battery life is great.

A client of mine was looking for a new laptop. After considering a number of factors (usage, price, etc.) I thought this fit best among what was available. I was going to set it up for her but from the beginning I ran into troubles. It took several tries before it would boot, out of the box. The system would crash with multiple messages after not much time at all - critical process failed & others - sometimes during boot, sometimes within Windows. I could run burn-in tests without troubles for several hours, but after a reboot would be back in the same situation. Oddly, the wifi speed varied wildly - I could test one minute and it would be the full 300, next it would test at 30. Also, the processor would vary wildly during benchmarking - on one pass it would rate in the 9000s, next it would be 6000, etc. Ive been a tech for 25+ years and have never seen this happen, Im sill not 100% sure what the cause is, but it seems the motherboard is likely. I didnt press to find out much more as its going to be returned ASAP. Could simply be an unusual lemon, but wanted to review it so at least others might think twice.

Purchased as a gift. Used three times. Will not function. Returned. Hopefully the next one is better.

Got this back in May 2020 I believe and its now Nov the same year. I really like this laptop. I got the 14 inch model and its so light weight and easy to carry around. I needed it for work and its been a god send lately as our computers at work havent been working. I really dont even mind the limitations on the download thing because its in s mode or whatever. It gets what I need to do done.
