> 3 dayAs a college student I’m pretty dependent on a laptop for my work. This is my second HP laptop and I will not be buying another one. It can’t be off the charger for more than a couple hours of use and it freezes a lot. It takes forever to update, sometimes automatically which of course happens at bad times and it occasionally can’t do an update and then I have to wait for the changes to be undone. I would not recommend one to anyone.

Greater than one weekI had an older similar HP laptop and this one has many improvements over it. Keyboard and touch pad are fine. Case is nice even though its made of plastic. The fan is very quiet but it runs pretty cool anyway. It has a flip tablet mode but I think its not useful since the unit is quite heavy. Touchscreen is good but I dont use it much. A few complaints... Display could be brighter. Theres no way you could use it outside. It would be nice if it have a fingerprint reader but I guess thats okay. Its not very fast so dont plan on running games on it.

Opening a web browser also becomes a chore after a few years. Seriously, if you don’t want to deal with the slowness buy an HP Elitebook. It costs more money but you get what you pay for. I know this because my work computer is an Elitebook and has no hiccups. I’ve had it for 4 years. I turn it on and I’m up and running in 2 minutes. I will never buy another Pavilion again. Never.

> 3 dayThe battery life leans more toward the lower end of the manufacturers estimate. The computer is slightly cumbersome when using as a tablet, but I love the large size of everything. For laptop function, I do a lot of work in Microsoft word and I love the feel of the keys. They are easy to press and the spacing is perfect. The touch screen is a pleasant feature, though Im still adjusting to being able to reach up and touch something as opposed to having to drag the mouse around. It doesnt work well with every function, so Im glad it has a good built-in mouse. The only downside is that the
