Got to admit, I had my doubts but awesome monitor, easy on the eyes like they say. Make sure you do all the colors and calibration. Absolutely must use install with this monitor. Otherwise default drivers off center a little... with the install, you will love the control you have on this backlit monitor. This was my first so-called back lit monitor, I had no idea... however, what I found its like this. Did you ever have poor lighting like I do with no overhead lights in your house and you eyes hurt a bit? Well I do and I have to put the lights stand up ones all over the place to get best view. Well, with the backlit, you get it from behind as well, hurts less on the eyes. I think I got it and I think HP has something here. Not sure they have this on touch monitors. I have those I bought for $400 and more and they are nice but this is easy on the eyes. Dont be fooled by the cheap price, its high quality, really is.

I bought this for my Grandpa 4-years ago and its still working great. He uses it to print his documents and go online from time to time. The monitor has a glossy black finish and a thin panel design flanked by a HDMI and VGA port for video outputs. This is just a basic 1080p 60hz monitor for those who dont need a whole lot. I bought it for him to replace his old CRT monitor he had. Now would this work for Gaming probably it would do just fine, but its not a high-performance monitor meant for Gaming. Gaming Monitors would be better suited to 120hz, or 240hz and higher refresh rates. I wouldnt recommend this monitor to Gamers who want the best performance possible. This monitor is more for those who dont have a whole lot of money to spend on a new monitor and want something with decent panel quality and a 1080p resolution. This is a solid budget monitor. I purchase it again for $90 like I did in 2018 if I needed to buy a family member another monitor.

This monitor was exactly what i needed at work. I have a small portable monitor that i carry with me and use in the hotel but i was able to purchase this one for my work office and leave it on my desk. Once i got the adapter for the serial port, it was easy to put together. I have a Dell laptop but this HP monitor works well. the color is perfect and the size of the screen makes it easy to view in a conference room. I love it.

Honestly this is a great monitor for gaming. My other monitor was a bit bigger which made it harder to game, therefore I wanted to down size a bit to see if there would be a difference which is was! Great purchase! It’s not a bad price as well. The only thing is that it says it can adjust the screen but I’m too scared to move it around since it’s not budging. But either way there’s no need for me to move this one around. And it also has a very slim look which is great! In love and will be purchasing more in the future! Took a picture how it looks with the lights on, and off. Brightness is still great!

I purchased one of these a year or so ago and it has worked out very well, so I just bought a second one so I can have a dual monitor setup. The color is great (I use photo editing software regularly), the size and brightness and response is great (Im also a CAD professional), and the form factor is lightweight, easy to adjust, and compact for its size. Hardly any visible change to the image at different view angles. Good adjustability in color, brightness, tone etc. And its typically priced under $100. Pretty fantastic really. Highly recommended. Like I said, I like it so much and its so cheap I bought myself a second one. Im not a gamer, so cant comment on suitability for that. My son has a gaming monitor that is bigger and curved and 4x more expensive than this one. Also, this one does not have any mount points on the back, so you need to use its stand. FYI, if thats an issue for you.

This monitor worked very well to support my working from home during the worst of the pandemic and even as I have transitioned back to full-time in the office. However after 14 months of service, it now has a yellow screen that is really unbearable and cannot be fixed except by bringing in a tech which will cost way more than a 14 month old monitor is worth.

For the price, I believe these have been the best monitors weve ever owned. Usually. 2 of the newer monitors now have begun to have these glitches. Like youll be working and theyll start producing glitchy lines across the screen. It doesnt affect what youre doing, but its annoying, especially if youre gaming or trying to focus on something, like watching a video. Outside of that, the picture quality is great in the other monitors all the time, and the glitchy ones most of the time. Ive owned 2 of them for several years now and they still work/display like new. The most recent one we purchased had an issue with the AC Adapter. It was dead. Unfortunately, Amazon did not have any more of the monitors available so we had to use an adapter from another PC and not return this one. But the monitor itself works perfectly. I dont know, sometimes electronics have glitchy things, but overall weve been very happy with these monitors and their long term performance.

I was looking for a dual monitor setup for my new PC setup, and I had an old Acer monitor which had a resolution I wasnt happy with. I decided to search for a good monitor for a price I could have a budget for, yet enjoy. I found this excellent IPS monitor. This monitor arrived in a clean box, and had instructions provided to properly setup the monitor, with a clean sheet applied to the screen to prevent light damage to the screen in shipment. Upon opening, I noticed it came with a complimentary VGA cable (didnt use it, since I prefer HDMI). The monitor has two parts: a stand and the monitor itself. This was easy to set-up as well, and the sheet covering the monitor depicted the connections to build it clearly. After setting the monitor up, settings were easy to navigate and configure, and in seconds I was logging into Windows with a clear, crisp resolution which was much more pleasing to look at than my older Acer, which has light bleed and some funkier older pixels and colors. My monitor was clear of dead pixels, and was overall just as I needed for anything from browsing to gaming at a comfortable 80fps. I am in the process of purchasing another monitor to replace my older Acer. Thank you!

This my 2nd purchase of this make and model, the 1st was 2 years ago and still running like a champ. My recent purchase came with no surprises, it works, looks good, has what I need for specs and as before arrived w/o any dead pixels or any other defect. I needed more display space (now a remote employee!) and thought about going to a 27 or 32 inch. My inner boy scout took over and I decided to go with duals (what are the odds of both failing at the same time?) for redundancy. Very pleased with my choice. Just a heads up.. the unit arrived with a VGA cable, rather than HDMI as some listing show. Also, though the monitor can be VESA mounted, its up to you to get the adapter. I didnt need one, the supplied base is fine for my installation. Finally.. for the second time mine arrived in a HP box, clearly identifying the contents, glad I was home.

I’ve had this monitor for a couple of months and have the power cable and an HDMI cable plugged into it. Both of those ports have already seemed to loosen and if I bump the monitor just so, it cuts off/disconnects from my laptop. I just have to plug the cables back in and I’m back in business. Aside from that, it’s great. Screen is large and bright and clear.
