This my 2nd purchase of this make and model, the 1st was 2 years ago and still running like a champ. My recent purchase came with no surprises, it works, looks good, has what I need for specs and as before arrived w/o any dead pixels or any other defect. I needed more display space (now a remote employee!) and thought about going to a 27 or 32 inch. My inner boy scout took over and I decided to go with duals (what are the odds of both failing at the same time?) for redundancy. Very pleased with my choice. Just a heads up.. the unit arrived with a VGA cable, rather than HDMI as some listing show. Also, though the monitor can be VESA mounted, its up to you to get the adapter. I didnt need one, the supplied base is fine for my installation. Finally.. for the second time mine arrived in a HP box, clearly identifying the contents, glad I was home.

So yellow tone modulation and picture quality are important for cramming to study/ get a paper done, and this guy really sends it, you cannot beat the sheer value of this monitor alone, I bought 2 for my new Mac mini, and honestly with a few mounts and a bit of patience, I use these monitors more now for my media viewing than I do from my 4k LG tv- Theyre pretty great not gonna lie. Things to consider: Each monitor comes with a stand, VGA cables, and a power chord - the power chord has a 1.5x2.5-3 box attached to it- thats the only thing youd have to plan for but the power chord should be long enough for most conventional desks

When I purchased the first monitor, it was sleek and priced so great, I went ahead and purchased another one shortly after so that I could have matching dual monitors. They have been running smoothly for a year. The only issue I ever ran into was that I couldnt mount them at all (the back is not setup to mount). Anyway, I still loved them. I have my textbooks in a stand over my computer desk and yesterday a BOOK fell as I was trying to grab it and it hit the monitor..... This was by no means a crazy blow. Anyway - monitor went a funny color with lines instantly. Then after many, many disconnects/reconnects and wobbling of every cable - I touched the monitor screen and the lines would change. Clearly the screen was damaged internally somehow. If this had been a crushing blow to the device, I would not be as frustrated because it would be understandable, but this was just.... a book falling and hitting it as it fell. The hardware is way, way too delicate. Unfortunately - you get what you pay for? I want matching dual monitors and these are pretty sleek as long as they work, so I put another one in my cart to buy - but then I just couldnt bring myself to buy it, because now I know if anything touches it wrong, the monitor will die. Its abnormally fragile. Sad and frustrating.

I acquired this monitor as I was tired of moving documents around on only one computer screen. It was getting crowded and difficult to see which document I was working on at one time. After removing the monitor our of the box and putting it together (stand and monitor), I discovered that the monitor tilts front to back (forgot about that from product description). Then connected BOTH monitors to my computer. The HDMI picture quality to this monitor was outstanding. If I had known realized how excellent an HDMI picture is on a computer monitor, I would of purchased two of them and got rid of my current Samsung monitor altogether (it is not an HDMI monitor and I am spoiled). The only problem I had with the monitor (as stated the picture was outstanding, colors are excellent), was figuring out how to set up Win 10 with dual monitors. Looking back it was funny trying to figure out which setting to use and how the mouse moves from one monitor to the other. Once that was figured out I highly recommend this monitor to anyone (especially dual monitors). Its an excellent monitor for the price. I did purchase the extended protection plan (or whatever its called on Amazon) only because no matter what electronic device I but, as I tell everyone: Technology is ONLY perfect in the movies, in real life...protection plans are the way to go. The monitor is excellent with my HP computer that I also purchased at Amazon, but still have not done a review (Amazon, please be patient).

I love these monitors. They look great, the viewing angle is wide, and color fidelity is very very good. I do a good deal of design and other graphic work and was very impressed with the display itself. I bought two for an event, and both were consistent, excellent units. So much so I used them at home now as secondaries and they have not disappointed. The easiest way to sum up the quality is: I see designers at my start-up being perfectly OK with sitting these next to their MacBooks. Yes, theyd rather have 27 cinema displays but reality is reality. I also noticed the design crew in the next office quietly dropped one of these on every desk not long after I showed mine off. I do have some minor complaints that dont impact the score because I cant realistically expect them at this price, but in so that everyone knows what theyre getting: 1. Theres no mounting options; you get the stand and thats it 2. The wires stick straight out of the back, rather than parallel to the screen, so you have to be careful pushing it flat up against anything 3. Color gamut isnt professional but for under $100 its pretty good All in all, one of the best bangs for the buck Ive gotten in a long time.

I am not one to write reviews but bought this monitor afraid that it would not work with my MacBook due to many of the comments but being a cheaper and nicer looking monitor I decided to risk it. I hooked it up with a HDMI and the lightening 3 adaptor, turned on the power and immediately it was showing my macs screen - I am not sure where people are having issues with connecting these to MacBooks given that I did nothing but plug it in (didnt even have to use the software disc that came with it)

Crisp and vibrant display! Really fits the budget and delivers better than expected quality. Colors are clear and precise; watching videos is a lot more enjoyable with this monitor (especially videos of the 60fps type). I bought one of these monitors for my main computer and it was so good, I bought a second one for a computer in my shop. I plan to buy a third one here soon for a dual display on my shop computer. HP did a good job with this monitor. Installation of the stand is a breeze and you cant mess it up as the mounting spokes are made to fit only one size of the monitor so there is no guessing, just plug and play. Ports on the back are 1 power supply (included) 1 VGA cable connection and 1 HDMI. *NOTE: ONLY a VGA cable comes with the package, HDMI will have to be purchased separately. Other than that, great purchase, will definitely buy more of these bad boys. *UPDATE 23SEP2018: Monitors are functioning 100% as day 1. Other users are reporting problems or defects, I still have not had anything happen to me like they said happened to them. I am about to buy another one. The day these problems arise, I will update my review but as of now, everything is great! *UPDATE 12/12/2018 Monitors are fully operational and function as they did one day 1. Still impressed and satisfied with the quality of these monitors. I have a total of 3 and I am about to buy a 4th one right now.

Considering the price that I didnt have to pay, Id say that this monitor is about perfect for the needs of most people. Its a decent size display at almost 22 inches. Its nice and slim and fits well on a small table or desk (which is great for me). And the best part is that it looks almost perfect! This is the best monitor I have ever used personally, and I am glad that I found it at such a steal. My local Walmart doesnt even carry an HDMI monitor, let alone at such a low price point. My only really complaint is that I cant use the auto switching as it has created problems in which it would tell me to check the HDMI cable constantly. After turning this feature off in the settings, it hasnt given me this issue, which is fine since I only ever use it with my Mac mini. The stand is also a little flimsy, allowing this display to shake slightly when bumped. However, it is so minor that it really doesnt bother me. Overall, this machine is well worth it.

I bought one in 2018 before college and used it as a duo monitor with my old Dell monitor. It is now 2022 and I am out of college and now its time to replace my old Dell monitor... surely buying the same model 4 years later is a good sign!
